**End of flashback**
Your point of view:

I turn around to see Klaus sitting on. The bench, a roll up in his mouth and holding a clear umbrella with a neon pink band of material at the bottom. I walk over and dit next to him, sighing as I do.
"Well that was fun." He says while laughing. I look at him and smile. I missed him.
"It was fine until Ben's statue got decapitated." I say.
"Yeah well, it was the best funeral ever!" He shouts while standing up and throwing his arms in the air. He approaches the pile of ashes that were once our father.
"Klaus what the fu-"
"Language young lady. I bet you loved that didn't you?" He asks the pile of ashes.
"You forget that mentally I'm years older than you right?" I ask, he turns and nods before focusing back on the ashes, he sicks the cigarette in the pile and stands up, walking inside. I follow him inside but go to find Five. All those years together and it's still difficult to keep us apart. I walk up to his room, a place we spent a lot of time in as kids and find him sitting on the bed. I tiptoe over and sit next to him. He looks up at me with a subtle smile on his face.
"What now?" He asks slowly.
"I seem to remember you saying that before. Now, we figure things out like we always do. There has to be a way to fix this."
"I love you, you know that? And you're right, we will find a way. We escaped the future, visited many years in the past and somehow got back here days before the apocalypse. Anything seems to be possible at this stage."
"Of course I know you love me Five. I love you too, I would even if I didn't want to."
He smiles and kisses me quickly before standing up.
"I need coffee." He says and gets up.
"I'll take anything with caffeine, I believe staying up all night is going to be required so we can at leat try to work out the causes of what's coming."
"Exactly and that won't be easy. Anyone or anything could cause it, every decision made, every action could cause the end of the world."
"Brilliant." I say with heavy sarcasm. He laughs and I get up to go to the kitchen with him. We get our drinks and immediately go back to his room to begin finding all possibilities for what could cause the destruction we saw.

**Flash back**

I wake up with my arms wrapped firmly around Five. The sun slowly rises, restoring warmth to the surface of the Earth. I wish I could see the vibrant green grass and droplets of morning dew but the grass all burned away years ago. The dry air surrounds us as I move my arms and stand up. Scanning our surroundings. I have no clue where we are, with no maps and all the destruction there's no way of knowing and everywhere looks exactly the same so we just move in one direction all day. There's nothing else to do. We occasionally stop and use our powers, sometimes I walk and use my power to carry Five. Others, he uses spatial jumps to move both of us forwards.

I open a can of peaches and shake him awake. He sits up quickly and we eat. Ten minutes later, we're moving again.

**End of flashback**

Five gets a chalk and begins writing complex equations on the wall, I sit behind him and check for mistakes. Even a tiny mistake could mean the end of the world and the killing of a person that would not have any impact on the future we need to prevent. The clock slowly ticks away, every second feeling like an eternity which in this case is a good thing because this could easily take forever to figure out.

I wake up. I obviously fell asleep at some stage. I look to my left to find Five sleeping on the floor. I chuckle and get up, heading downstairs to the kitchen for a breakfast that doesn't involve canned food. Fells good to be able to think that. I sot at the table and eat the breakfast I prepared slowly as there isn't much I can do at this second. I'm beginning to wonder at what point we will tell the others. I mean, we have to at some stage right? How can two people stop the end of humanity? I always wonder what life is supposed to come after people. Through the ages different animals have appeared on the planet. Dinosaurs, mammoths and now humans. What next? Will there be anything else?

My thoughts are interrupted as a knife flies by my head.
"I never missed that." I say calmly as Diego strolls into the kitchen. He laughs and sits across from me.
"You didn't flinch. Shocking. Remember that time when you flinched so much the knife nearly hit you?"
"Remember that time that I lifted you into the air and could easily have killed you if I wanted to? I hope so, it was only yesterday."
"I missed you but not your attitude."
"You say that like you're talking to a seven year old. I'm physically fifteen and mentally in my fifties, I wouldn't do that if I was you." I laugh as I say this.
Five then enters the kitchen and slams his head on the table.
"Morning." I say to him, Diego laughs at how dramatic he's being. Five is dead without his coffee. I get up and make him a cup which he drinks ridiculously quickly. He stands and spatial jumps out of the room, probably going back upstairs.
"Well, that was a great conversation but I have to go deal with him now." I say before jumping to Five's room.

Right, so I have a busy few weeks ahead. I will try to update as frequently as possible. I know I always say this and still update but I'm always up past midnight to do so. That's all for today. Again, not the best chapter but I am trying. Thank you for readingggg. The next chapter should be better. Goodnight everyone :))
