• Chapter twelve •

Maddie's POV

Today we don't have a show since their giving us a few days off. We're still in Iowa City right now and we're just looking up things to do here. I then came across that they have an escape room here. "Omg guys we should all go to an escape room"I said "yeah we should!"Annie said "yeah those are so fun"Jayden said "Max and I went to one last year in LA with Jenna and we escaped the room, so we're kinda pros at this now"Harvey said "yeah so you guys must be glad to have us with you or else you probably wouldn't get out"Max said "yeah I'm definitely glad to have you here"I said and held Harveys hand and he smiled "awe you guys are too cute! I'm so happy your finally dating"Annie said "I'm happy too"I said "me too"Harvey said "ooo have you guys had your first kiss yet?"Jayden asking wiggling her eyebrows at us "oh they've definitely done more than a kiss"Max said "omg what?! You didn't have you know?"Annie asked "no definitely not! I'm not ready for that and we just started dating too. Max is just over exaggerating"I said "yeah but you were making out on the bed so I just thought that you did it before you came down"he said "no Max we didn't have sex so get over it. All we did was make out"Harvey said "yes exactly"I said "okay we believe don't worry we know max over exaggerates everything"Annie said "yeah that's definitely true"Jayden said "oh believe I know. I have to live with the guy"Harvey said "okay guys I'm right here"Max said "we know"Harvey said and Max just rolled his eyes "okay enough of making fun of Max now let's go to this escape room"he said standing up from the table "okay"I said and we all stood up and called an Uber to take us to the place where the escape room is.

Harvey's POV

  We arrived at the escape room and I held Maddie's hand as we walked into the building. Max paid for us all to go in and of course Maddie refused to let him pay yet he still did. She was not too happy with him after that but she still appreciated him paying for us. They let us in the room and locked it and set the timer for an hour. We only have three questions we could ask so we have to use them wisely and only if we really need them. They gave us a clue and we had to try to find something in the room that related to that to get our next clue to hopefully get out of the room. We found something in the book case and as soon as we picked it up a door opened which lead to another room. "Omg I thought we were out of the room already"Maddie said "no there's multiple rooms we have to go in to get out with each clue"I said "ohh okay I didn't know that. I thought it was only the one room"she said "yeah no it's not"I said "okay guys enough with the small talk we need to get out next clue"Max said motioning for us to come to the table in the middle of the room where the clue was. He read out the clue and we started to look around for something to get us out of the room. Harvey found something and it opened the door. We only had 2 mins left on the clock and we got out in time. "Omg yay we won!!"Annie said excitedly "yess the idiots win again!"Max said "good job Harv"Maddie said and gave me a hug "all I get is a hug"I said and she looked up at me "okay fine"she said and kissed me "awe you guys are adorable"Jayden said "thank you"I said still holding onto Maddie "are you guys gonna tell your fans about your relationship soon?"Annie asked "uh I'm not sure yet. Maybe once we've been together for a month"Maddie said "yeah probably then"I said "okay but post a pic of you guys together saying like happy one month or something like what I did where I tagged Asher on the flowers so it showed we're dating but it also didn't make it so obvious"Annie said "okay we'll do something like that"I said "I guess I'll have to cut out the cute Haddie moment out of my YouTube video"Jayden said "Oh yeah can you send me that part of the video please?"Maddie asked "of course I can"she said "and then you'll send it to me?"I said looking at Maddie "Yup"she said "okay good"I said and put my arm around her as we walked away from the escape room. "Do you guys wanna walk around the park?"Maddie asked everyone and they all shared a look and Jayden said "I think we'll let you guys have some alone time together" "oh no it's fine we don't mind you guys coming"I said "yeah but you guys haven't gone on your first date yet and we think you should do that now since we have a day off of tour"Annie said "are you sure you don't wanna come with us?"Maddie asked "we're sure. Now go have fun on your date"Max said pushing us away from them "okay bye then guys"I said and Maddie and I walked to the park "I feel like they were trying to get rid of us"she said "why do you think that?"I asked "i don't know they kept insisting that we leave and spend time together"she said "they probably just wanted us to have some alone time together cause we don't get much with them always with us on tour and we did need to go on a date sooner than later"I said "that's true! I'm glad we are now though"she said hugging me from the side as we walked down the sidewalk "me too!"I said kissing her forehead and then we saw some girl around the age of thirteen say "omg it's Harvey Mills and Maddie Stone!!" And then she ran over to us "can I get a picture with you two?"she asked us "yeah of course"Maddie said "yay!"she said and squeezed between us and we smiled as her mom snapped a picture of us "thank you so much!!"she said "you're welcome"I said and we started to walk away we she stopped us "wait! Are you guys dating?"she asked "what?! Date him? Nope never. We are definitely not dating"Maddie said. It kinda offended me the way she said it but I guess she just didn't want her to know about us "don't lie to me. I saw you guys walking down the sidewalk all cuddly with each other and Harvey kissing your forehead"she said crossing her arms trying to get a point across. As soon as she said that we both knew we were screwed. It's not like we're gonna lie to to her after she clearly saw us. I guess we have to tell her the truth. "Fine we are dating"I said "omg I've always shipped you guys since your started! This so great"she said "yeah but please don't tell anyone. We don't want our relationship out yet"Maddie said "okay don't worry I'll try not to tell anyone"she said and walked away "she'll try? What the hell is that supposed to mean? Oh god I hope she doesn't tell people we're dating"Maddie said concerned about what's going to happen "babe don't worry. Even if she does tell people is it so bad. We're together and we're happy and thats all that matters and if the fans don't like that than their not real supporters cause they should support any decision we make in our lives. I wouldn't care if people knew about us and I'm sure it'll be fine if they do cause no one could ever make me feel different about you or make me break up with you because people don't like our relationship. I'm falling in love with you and I never wanna loose you so don't worry what anyone thinks"I said "your falling in love with me?"she asked smiling a bit "yes I am"I said smiling too "well than I'm falling in love with you too"she putting her arms around my neck "so then have we made our decision? Are we gonna tell the fans about us?"I asked putting my hands on her waist "yeah we'll tell them"she said "okay good. I can't wait for the world to know that this gorgeous girl right here is all mine"I said "I can't wait too"she said and kissed me passionately. Then she held my hand and walked around a bit more. I could hear an ice cream truck coming  and Maddie ran towards it like a little girl. I love seeing her get excited. "Come on Harv lets get some ice cream!"she said pulling me towards the truck "okay okay"I said and we both got chocolate vanilla swirl ice cream and sat down at the bench near by. I had my arm around her and she had her head on my shoulder as we both ate our ice cream. Then she sat up and looked at me with a grin on her face. "What?"I said laughing a bit "you got something on your face"she said and then shoved the rest of her ice cream into my face and just laughed like crazy "you know what I think you do too"I said and shoved my ice cream into her face "oh you wanna be like that"she said and then rubbed the ice cream that was her face onto mine and it became a whole ice cream fight. It was super fun though and we laughed the whole time. Once we cleaned our faces we called an Uber and headed back to our hotel.

  We arrived at our hotel room and walked in both with huge smiles on our faces. "You two look like you had a lot of fun"Annie said "yeah we did"I said and smiled at Maddie "awe you guys are so cute"Jayden said "thanks!"Maddie said "so what did you guys end up doing?"Max asked as we sat down on the bed "well we walked around the park for a bit, got some ice cream, then we shoved it into each other's faces which was quite funny and we also met a fan"Maddie said "yeah and we took a picture with the fan and she said that she'll try to keep our relationship a secret"I said "how did she know you guys were dating anyways?"Annie asked "well she saw me hugging Harvey and him kiss my forehead before she asked us for a picture"Maddie said "oh so what are you gonna do if she tells everyone that your dating?"Jayden asked "well we decided that we wanna tell the fans anyways about our relationship so it won't really matter if she does" I said "really?!"Annie asked "yes really"Maddie said "omg I'm so happy you guys are finally gonna tell the fans"Jayden said "we are too"I said "and we'll probably post about it on our one month anniversary"Maddie said "okay sounds good"Max said "I'm sure the fans will be so happy to know your dating"Jayden said "I they probably will be but they'll never be as happy as I am to be dating Maddie"I said and Maddie smiled at me "we should all probably go to bed now cause we have to get up early for sound check"Max said "when are you suddenly so responsible?"Maddie asked him "I don't know I'm just tired"he said "okay"she said and we all got ready for bed and I fell asleep feeling so happy with Maddie cuddled up in my arms.
