• Chapter fifty five •

maddie's pov

... i'm pregnant. oh my god i'm pregnant. i'm gonna be a mother. i'm not ready for that nor will i be anytime soon. i'm only seventeen turning eighteen. oh god this can't be happening. i must be sleeping. maybe if u pinch myself i'll wake up from this nightmare. i pinched myself hard leaving a red mark on my arm trying to wake myself from my slumber but i sure a hell knew i was wide awake. maybe i'm not pregnant. maybe this test is wrong. i grabbed the second test and did that one. i did the exact same thing as before and it showed i was pregnant again so i did the third and last test i had bought and it said the same thing so if must be true. i am pregnant. i have to figure how i'm gonna tell harvey. he's out right now with max and amber cause he knew i wasn't t feeling well so he was letting me rest, but the last thing i'm gonna be doing now is resting. i'm just gonna be stressed and worrying now. but how can i tell him? i need to do something cute to tell him. this is a big deal. in a few days is our one year anniversary so we're planning to go out for dinner anyways so i'll tell him then. i'm just scared of how he'll react.

*a few days later*

harvey's pov

   today is mine and maddie's one year anniversary and i have a whole day planned for us. first i'm gonna take her to the mall to buy cute outfits and get her hair and nails done at the salon there , then we're gonna go home change into our new outfits and then i'm bringing her to this nice restaurant that she loves. i'm still staying at her house for a few more days, so i woke up before her so i snuck out of bed and went downstairs to make her breakfast in bed. i made some scrambled eggs, waffles with nutella and strawberries, toast and some orange juice. i went upstairs and she was still asleep so i placed it on the ground beside the bed and cuddled up with her and kissed her cheek. then i whispered in her ear "good morning princess" as she started to wake up. "good morning baby" she said in her morning voice as she turned towards me to give me a gentle kiss on the lips "how was your sleep?" i asked her admiring her features as i starred into her gorgeous green blue eyes "it was okay but i didn't get much sleep" she said as she ran her hand through my hair "awe, how come?" i said as i did a pouty face "i don't know i'm just a bit stressed i guess" she said as she looked away from my eyes "what are you stressed about?" i asked in a more concerned tone "oh um just school" she said sitting up kind of as if she was trying to hide something from me "if something else is bothering you, you know you can tell me anything. i'm always here for you no matter what it is" i said sitting up beside her and grabbing her hand "i know but there's nothing else you need to be worried about" she said giving me a slight smile "i'm gonna take a shower now okay?" she said standing up and giving me a kiss on the cheek "okay" i said as she stood up and walked towards her bathroom "oh and happy one year anniversary btw" she said giving me a big smile "happy one year anniversary" i said smiling back and she went into the washroom closing the door behind her. i know she was lying. i can tell, but i didn't wanna pressure her to tell me cause she obviously wasn't ready to open up to me about it yet if she didn't tell me before which is totally fine. i just hope she tells me or someone eventually cause it's never good to keep things that are bothering you inside for too long.

   after she showered we ate the breakfast i had made and now we're heading to the mall. we both bought some nice outfits and she seemed to really enjoy getting her nails and hair done. she's gonna look so beautiful tonight in her new outfit too. after the mall we went back to maddie's house and got changed to go out to the restaurant to celebrate our one year. we got to the restaurant and we're seated at a table for two. the waiter gave us our menu's and we looked through them to order. i decided on the steak with a caesar salad and maddie decided on this gourmet burger with fries. she kept looking at me from the across the table as if she needed to tell me something but she couldn't get it out. she started to bite down in her nails and she does that whenever she's nervous so there's obviously something going on i don't know about. "mads are you okay?" i asked holding her hand from across the table "um well no not really" she said nervously "oh whats wrong?" i asked her "well it's not really something it's wrong it's just i need to tell you something but i worried about how your gonna react cause it's a lot to take in" she said "don't worry you can tell me" i said "okay well i'm um.. actually here" she said grabbing a wrapped box out of her purse and handing it to me "whats this?" i asked taking it from her "just open it" she said "okay" i said opening it up to find  something that felt like a stick wrapped in tissue paper. then i opened up the tissue paper to see a pregnancy test that came out positive. "is this yours?" i asked and she nodded nervously "harvey i'm pregnant" she said and tears started to form in her eyes "it's mine right?" i asked "yes of course" she said "wow" i said scratching the back of my neck "what are you thinking?" she said as a tear fell down her cheek "i don't know i'm just in shock" i said "please don't leave me because do this. i need you. i can't do this on my own. i'm so scared" she said as tears fell more "oh no baby i would never leave you. i wanna be here for you and our baby. i'm happy" i said leaning down beside her and wiping the tears from her cheeks as a smile spread across her face "you promise?" she asked "i promise. your the best thing that ever happened to me and this made me so happy. i've always wanted to start family with you and don't even worry i'll be for you every step of the way during this pregnancy" i said "thank you harvey. i love you so much" she said hugging me tightly "i love you too" i said hugging her back "happy anniversary" she said "happy anniversary" i said back

{a/n: hey guys! so maddie told harvey and it turned out the way she hoped. i don't think there will be very many chapter left of this fanfic since i don't have that many ideas left, but we'll see. anyways i hope you enjoyed this chapter and i'll try to update again soon. i love you guys <3 ~julia xoxo}
