My vision became blurry but before I passed out I heard shouting.

I walked back and forth inside the small room. I was frustrated.
"Ugh. This is all my fault. I should have ran faster than just staring at her and then running! I shouldn't have fought back to those men." I exclaimed.
I was by myself, panicking and looking at Chaeyoung lying peacefully on the bed.
Her whole body was bruised. Blood was evident on her face.
~Flashback~
I sighed for the nth time that night.
Why can't I just close my eyes and sleep?
Another sigh came out of my mouth before I decided to get up and wearing my black hoodie.
I slipped on my sandals and opened the door to my balcony.
But somehow, when I looked up at the house beside ours, Chaeyoug's window was wide open, but the lights were all out.
'Maybe she needed fresh air to sleep well.'
I climbed down the house and shoved my hands in my pockets while walking down the street.
I checked the time. 11:24.
While I was walking I heard laughter echoing throughout a dark alley.
"Drunkards." I mumbled.
But when I passed by the said alley, the men who were laughing were actually towering above something. No. Someone.
That seemed to catch my attention.
I squinted my eyes to look closer and it was a girl in a white hoodie.
But what made me widen my eyes was when I recognized the girl.
Wavy red hair and familiar brown eyes.
Chaeyoung.
I stared at her in worry and shock. Those guys were hurting her!
I shook my head and ran towards the men.
I started pushing them one by one, making sure to punch their filthy faces.
