Dating Scandal

~Three weeks later~

You were currently in Canada. "Let's get something to eat. I'm starving," Melody said. "Where should we eat?" Byung-Hee asked. "How about that place? I heard it's really good," Eun pointed at a restaurant. "Wow, Eun. Did you do some research before we came here?" you nudged him. "I did. I need to make sure that we get treated well," he said. You chuckled, "You're always looking out for others." Everyone entered the restaurant and sat down. The group had to be split up; it was split up into gender. Lily turned around and started messing with Mark. "Hey, stop that," he slapped her hand away. "So, how's your relationship with Ayeon? Are you planning to propose to her soon?" she asked. "What, no! We've been dating for a year. I don't plan to propose to her that early," he said. "What about you, does Josh plan to propose to you anytime soon?" he asked, "After all, you've been dating ever since high school. He still hasn't popped the question?" "Hey, that's not fair," Lily crossed her arms. "I guess..." Josh stood up. "No way, is he..." Melody leaned in to watch. You watched as he kneeled down and pulled out a box. Lily's attention was now on her boyfriend. "I've been meaning to ask you for some time now. But, I never got the chance to. I think that it's about time. Lily, you've been with me since high school. You have made me so happy. I want you to know that I love you, although you already know. But I need you to be with me forever, so will you marry me?" Josh asked. "Of course I will, dork. Is that even a question?" Lily asked. He stood up and pushed the ring onto her right hand. Then they shared a passionate kiss. The whole restaurant clapped. They pulled away. "Hah, beat that Mark. Now you have to propose!" she said. "Gosh, they never let it go," you sighed and shook your head. "It's refreshing. It may seem like she's joking around but she's also giving him confidence," Melody said. "I'm starting to wonder when you'll get married to Taehyung," she looked over to you. "He's most definitely not thinking about it now. Maybe when he's done with his career," you said. "You think so?" she asked. You nodded, "We're both busy. Plus, if he proposes when he's still an idol, I'll still be his assistant manager. Do you get it?" you asked. Melody nodded, "The entire dating your assistant manager is a scandal in of itself." "Exactly," you sighed. You didn't mind marrying later.

~After a while~

This was more like a trip than anything. It wasn't really a business trip. Although there was a lot of meetings, it wasn't as bad as you had anticipated.

You just finished eating. "I'm going to walk around. I'll meet up with you guys later," you went to the bathroom. After you were done washing up, you headed outside. You breathed in the air before stretching. Today was surprisingly exhausting. Then you started walking around. You were drawn to the shops that were surrounding you. As you were walking, you bumped into someone. "Oh sorry-" you stopped. It was Taehyung. "Wow, no way. You're here too?" he asked, excitedly. "I didn't know you'll be here," you smiled. "Same, this was one of your business trips?" he asked. You nodded. "I'm assuming that this is some type of tour?" you asked. He nodded, "Where are you going?" "I just finished eating, so I wanted to walk around," you answered. "Oh, really? Then you can walk around with me," he said. "I'm kidnapping you, I'm sure they won't mind," he added. "Wait, I need to get back to them. They need me soon," you said. "Do you have some remaining business to be doing?" Taehyung asked. "No... but I still need to inform them," you answered. "You'll be fine then. Just text them and tell them you're with me," he said. You didn't have a lot of reasons to protest or complain. So, you followed your 'kidnapper' quite willingly.

"No way, look," the person pointed at two figures. "Isn't that the daughter of Y/D/F/N?" (Your dad's full name) another person ask. "I'm pretty sure it is," the first person confirmed. They looked closer. "Isn't that also Taehyung from BTS?" the second person asked. "It looks like it," the first person said. They looked at one another before smirking. They started snapping pictures. "I heard that she actually got a job but no one is sure what it is," the first person said. "That doesn't matter at the moment. If anyone in the business field figures this out, it'll look bad in Y/N's company," the second person replied. "We got lucky today, meeting her like this. Today is a good day. It looks like we can throw that stupid company from its all mighty throne," the second person's thought ran wild with the thought of overtaking the company's position. "After being her family's rival for so long, we finally defeat her," the first person smirked. They both were overrunned by the thought of having power and control. "We'll so rich that no one can stop us. Authority will have to bow down to us," the first person said. After they finished taking pictures, they selected the ones that would lead the wrong message. Then they posted those images on the internet, letting it spread it wildfire. "Dating Scandal between the daughter of a well known company and an idol."

~Back to you~

You and Taehyung were able to go around and have fun. But then, Melody interfered. "I think that it's time for us to go and have fun together," she took ahold of you. "Let's go," she waved at Taehyung and dragged you off. "Uh, bye, Y/N," he waved. You waved back. Melody forcefully pulled you out of the store. "What's with the rush?" you asked. She held up her phone, "This." You looked at it. It was a lot of images on you and Taehyung, "Dating Scandal." No one was happy with it. "All of your family's hard work will be thrown out the window because of this," she said. "How did... how is that even possible?" you asked. "I'm sure it was some of your rivals. People will do anything nowadays just to have fame and money. They'll even do these cheap moves. This is how crazy the world is going," she shook her head, disappointed. "I'm sure when your company sees this, they'll be quick to take it all down. But, people already seen it. That means, you're going to deal with a lot of hell this upcoming two weeks. Maybe your entire life if it isn't cleared up," she said. "How could this happen... was bumping Taehyung that bad?" you asked yourself.
