End of the cursed night

Third person's P.O.V.

They have taken Baekhyun inside of OT for surgery . Today fate has twisted . Everyday Chanyeol works inside to save patients' life. But today he is waiting outside in the corridor while his life partner is struggling for his life inside.

He himself is a doctor...But has no courage to tolerate Baekhyun's blood covered body anymore . His heart is now swollen with pain .

"Why it has to be Baekhyun? ...Why?"

This question is killing Chanyeol..

He could be inside with Baekhyun during surgery .But he can't tolerate holding surgical knife in hand by him or by anyone else to cut open Baekhyun's body.

Baek's body is showing how much struggle he has done in trying to protect himself from the predators .How can be people so cruel to do such thing with such an innocent person ? How much pain has Baekhyun undergone that's just Chanyeol's beyond imagination.

He is afraid of losing him. He knows Baekhyun's condition is not so good .May be this surgery can end with an unavoidable failure or his brain death or may be coma ......

Authority has formed not a mere board of doctors . The board is containing hospital's best specialist doctors . Chanyeol knows all of them and also knows they will do their best .

Before entering OT Dr. Suho said,

"We will do our best . Everything will be okay . Pray for him."

Isn't it just a console ? It's the universal console of every doctors towards patients' families before entering surgery..... No..... It's not .......Every doctor usually says,

"It's nothing complicated . Everything gonna be okay."

"Baek, please held on.... held on..." Chanyeol is mumbling inside while standing and leaning on the wall of corridor.

Exhausted and frightened Kai and Kyungsoo arrive there almost running.

"Chanyeol , is Baekhyun okay? The surgery has started? How these terrible things happened?"

Kai says in anxious shaking voice . What Sehun has said him that's so terrible just beyond his imagination.

"He is inside OT now . Pray for him."Chanyeol can't recognise his own voice.

"The surgery won't take long time? hasn't you seen him?...Why you didn't go with Baekhyun?"

Chanyeol doesn't know what to answer .He is feeling so sobbed inside.

"I.....I can't tolerate running surgical knife on Baek's body ,"

A teardrop just falls from his left eye while other one showing sparkle of another teardrop.

Kai helds his head with two hands in fraustation . Baekhyun is not just cousine to him,he is more than like younger brother to him.

"Chanyeol hyung......You know that right....??"

Kyungsoo asks in broken voice with hesitation .Kai looks at him confusedly .

Chanyeol is pointless now....

"What , Kyungsoo ?"

"That....That Baekhyun is pregnant...."

A shiever runs through Chanyeol's spine.

"Did he know?"

"What do you mean by 'did' ? "

"Answer me ....Baek knows he is...."

"Yes ...."

"How long, Kyungsoo?"

"One week"

"He even didn't tell me once..." Chanyeol is now totally pointless . Baekhyun knew,but didn't tell ...Why?.....

"It's your anniversary gift, hyung,"

Kyungsoo is now trying to control sob now . It's reminding him about the happy Baekhyun earlier in the morning.

"Hyung....The surgeons inside should know that information so....."

Chanyeol is feeling so drowned now .Why he didn't even pay a bit attention to Baekhyun? Why he was so selfish ? What he is gonna say to Baekhyun after?...These thought were rushing inside him. But right now Baekhyun's life more important than the baby to him.

"Baekhyun has already undergone miscarriage....."

Chanyeol doesn't want to say,but force him to say.

They are waiting and waiting . Chanyeol's parents have arrived after getting the news . Baekhyun's father is on his way from Spain to Korea .All are waiting outside the surgery room .

The night ends .The fucking cursed duration of night shift of Chanyeol ends. He is feeling like he is lifeless ....so drowned in deep.

He has remembered that after their marriage , almost every morning has started with Baekhyun beside .Even whenever he had night shift on hospital, every morning when he went home there was smiling Baekhyun for him .He is so afraid now.

He doesn't want any sleep breaking without Baekhyun beside .He doesn't want any morning to be start without Baekhyun . He needs Baek for himself . He is incomplete without Baekhyun beside .

At last the surgery ends after almost five and half hours .As Dr. Suho comes outside first while he was removing the mask from mouth and cap from head . Chanyeol stands from the waiting chair seeing him .Suho steps towards him and Chanyeol says,

"Baekhyun is okay?.... Right?... Hyung?."

"Chanyeol, come with me . I will explain " Suho says while passing him.

"No, hyung... please....first tell me that Baek is okay."

Hi,guys !!!...... Another episode!..... Is this episode seeming so lame?.....I can't understand.
