17 - I'm alone in the night.

Things were off. It was suddenly so quiet. Joe and Ben were still ' Friends ' but Joe just felt as of something was wrong, as if something wasn't correct. Maybe the fact that they didn't fuck for over two weeks now? Or that they didn't even kiss? It was weird and Joe felt truly as if he missed it. 

" Everything okay? " Joe snapped out of his thought looking infront of him at Rami. " Yeah, yeah. " Joe said off guard before clearing his throat. " So, how is it between you and Ben? " Rami asked. Joe sighed deeply and shrugged. " I don't know, It's okay I guess but it's also not okay. " Joe said and Rami just raised his eyebrow. " Okay now in english. " Joe scoffed as he looked down at his hands on his laps. " Well, we are okay. Like good friend but, it doesn't feel right. " Joe explained. " ' It doesn't feel right ' because of your crush? Or... " Rami trailed off. " No, it's not my crush it just feels so different? As if there nothing anymore you know? " Joe looked up at Rami in question but the boy just shook his head. " Nevermind. " 

" You know what you need? " Rami asked as he pointed at Joe. The boy responded with his one eyebrow raised. " New people in your life. " Rami stated. " No Rami I don- " Joe began but Rami cut him off. " No I don't wanna hear nothing. You need new people. You can't for always have one headass crush on Ben- " 

" DON'T say his name. " Joe cut him off. " Why? Ben, Ben, Ben, Ben. " Rami teased. " Okay I'm done. " Joe said as he stood up but Rami pulled him down again. " Okay sorry. " Rami laughed, putting his hand on Joe's shoulder. " Just come with me. Gwil is gonna tag along too you know? " Rami tried again but Joe was paying no attention whatsoever. " What if Lucy wants to come, because if she comes I am sure her fucking husband will come too. " Joe said bitterly as he looked down. " So what if? You need to show them both that you don't need Ben in your life right? " Rami said, looking at the boy. " I don't know, I need to think about it.. " Joe trailed off before standing up and walking away.

Joe didn't want someone else, he wants Ben. He didn't know if he was mad at him or that he was mad at himself for even liking someone like this. Even though Rami wanted the best for him and of course meet new people it was just, not him. He already changed so much over the past few months but he didn't want to change that much. And everytime, when Joe was alone yet again on a random day at midnight. He couldn't help but cry about missing someone by his side, and not that someone but a particular person. 

He laid on his back, looking at the ceiling. It was already too late right? Joe looked at his phone and the time showed: 3 AM. 

Yeah it's too late. He missed him so much it wasn't human like. And the worst thing is that it isn't even that they are fighting no it's just so nerve wrecking since everything is ' okay ' between them but yet again it doesn't feel good. It feels as if it isn't ' Okay ' for real. His phone buzzed and he didn't even want to look at it. Joe groaned as he grabbed his phone and held it infront of his face from a distant.

Ben:

- r you up?  

Joe had to lower his phone so he could see clearly that it was him for sure and that he wasn't just hallucinating.

Me:

- yeah. 

Joe bit on his nails as he saw Ben typing and erasing his message again. Why was he doing this? Was it on purpose to make Joe feel like this, all for just someone who doesn't even care about him. Joe saw that he stopped typing and thought he would just leave him and go offline. He already felt his heart drop at the feeling of him going after Ben while Ben was just using him for whatever.

Ben:

- do u wanna hangout?

As if, Joe thougth while rolling his eyes. For what? Only to fuck or brag about Lucy? No thanks-

Ben:

- please? 

Is it that important? Joe was confused when he saw the last message. Joe sighe deeply as he was in battling with his own mind and perhaps also his heart. It only took him a couple of seconds later to get out of his bed and put on his shoes texting Ben back.

Me:

- meet me at the park. 

He was not in the mood to hang out inside Ben's apartment or in his own apartment, he needed to go outside anyways.

I know this was short but i guess its okay since surprise, surprise the next chapter is smut. i was planning to do an aggressive smut scene but idk didnt feel like it anymore so its gonna be ehm ❤️👄❤️🍆🤭 idk yall will see.
