I went home and Herb was laying down on the couch sleep. I woke him up with a kiss.
"Hey boo." He woke up and kissed me back

"Wassup."
"I got a question"

He yawned "I might have an answer.."

"Can we do a baby shower? I'm gonna be 7 months in 2 weeks so...."

"I'm leaving for another month for another tour ma.."

"A whole month G? For real?"

"Yea..I'm sorry I ain't tell you."

"You can't miss one day for the gender reveal AND baby shower for your child?"

"Baby it's my tou-.." I cut him off
"It's coo. Ion care." I rolled my eyes and walked to the room.
I know he has an image to keep up but he chooses that over his child? It's only ONE day he has to miss.
I just sat back in my bed and watched tv..

Herb walked in afterwards.
"Why you actin like this folk?"

I sat up "Acting like what? Sorrrrrry if I wanted the father of my child to be there."

He rolled his eyes "trust me I really wanna be there , but if I miss one day of my tour..I'm dropped."

"I heard you Herb. I told you I don't care no more."

"That's a lie. You don't think I know you well enough?"

"I'm serious. Me trying to compromise with you obviously isn't working so there's no point of me trying to argue. You're not showing up? Okay then. I can't do nothing about that now."

"I'm sorry.." I could tell he felt really bad and then he made me feel bad.

"Baby.. it's fine. I'll just FaceTime you while it's going on."

"How if I'm gonna be performing?"

I sighed and rolled my eyes.
"This is what I get for dating a rapper"
He pinched my cheek and smiled "I love youuu."
