I walked from my room to the kitchen and seen Leilani and Herb laying on the couch.

They're really the best of friends. I think having a daughter changed him...or having a child period.

I walked over to the two and smiled
"You're too cute."

"Who? Me or Lani?"

"Y'all both cute but Lani cuter cuz she look like me."

"Shiid you not wrong. Gorgeous hazel eyes,
dimples ...good thing she got her looks from you."

He said while kissing me.

Leilani woke up and stared right at Herb with her big round eyes.
"Hey mamas. Did daddy wake you up?" He's so sensitive around her . It's honestly the cutest sh*t ever.

She started to cry and he gave her to me. I put her pacifier in her mouth and rocked her back to sleep.
"This parenting sh*t is crazy and this only my 2nd day." Herb said

I just had to laugh "you're doing good boo.."

He smiled and gave me a kiss on my cheek

"I gotta go. Studio calls. I'll be back for my babies later tonight. Aight?"
I nodded my head "be safe. I love you"
"Always safe baby. Love you too" he got his keys and walked out.

Maya walked downstairs and went straight to the kitchen
"Well good morning."
She yawned "sup"

Leilani woke right back up when she heard Maya's voice.

"You've been awfully tired lately."

"Even though I'm done with school .. those exams whooped my a** bruh."

I laughed "I feel you. Have you talked to mom?"

"No. Why would I?"

"Cuz that's still ya mama."

"And she's still yours too so why haven't you talked to her?" She got me there..

"Girl bye. I'm grown." She started laughing
"Yea whatever. Lemme see my baby"
Maya picked her up and sat down on the couch.

"Mama would love her."
"Yea well mama ain't seeing her."
"And why not?"
"Cuz I know she still mad at me for not showing up to Rob's funeral..."
"I mean I wouldn't show up either knowing my boyfriend the reason he gone.."
I looked at her and rolled my eyes.
"Aren't you supposed to be going somewhere?" I said picking Leilani back up.
"Good looks. I gotta go get ready."
"Bye bum"
"Bye whore"
