There was a knock at the door and Herb went to answer

"Who you?"

"Is Jayda here?" I could recognize that voice anywhere. I got up and went to see who it was.

"Deuce?" His eyes lit up and he gave me the longest hug.

"Deuce?! This Deuce?! Ya ex nigga that been talking reck?" Herb pushed him off

"Yo chill out son!" Deuce said bucking back.

"Can y'all not? Please..."

"Can I come in?"

"NAH!" Herb said .. Deuce rolled his eyes and looked at me. I nodded & he walked in.

"Mama!" Lani said while walking downstairs

"D*mn..you got a daughter?"
"Yea. Lani what is it baby?"
She turned and pointed to the kitchen.

"Maya ! Can you make Lei something to eat?!" Maya walked downstairs, turned to look at
Deuce and her eyes got big.
"Deuce?!"

She ran up to him and gave him a hug. Before Herb.. Deuce was like her big brother . They did everything together. Video games , movies , playing basketball..

"Ayoooo! I missed you son!"

"I missed you too."

I looked at Maya and she knew to leave.  "Come on Lani." Lani followed after her into the kitchen

Herb was pissseddddd cuz I let him in the house In the first place. Now he tryna stay and talk?? This most likely wasn't about to end on a good note.

"Ya daughter? She's gorgeous."

"Yea she is." Herb said

"Herb can I talk to you? For a sec?" We walked to the Room and closed the door.
"Baby? Why're you acting like this?"
"Cuz you got ya ex nigga In the house! F*ck you mean?!"
"Aight, Aight ..chill out.." I said putting my hand on his chest. He rolled his eyes & just to let him know that Deuce ain't mean sheeeeitttt to me, I kissed him all up on his neck and sheit so he got the hint.
"He ain't got sh*t on you. Never will baby"
He started feeling himself and geeking.
I smiled , took his hand and we walked back downstairs.
"Deuce what're you doing back in town?"
"Missed you..ya mama said you ain't live there no more & now I see you got a kid, and a house. You big ballin huh?"
"And a nigga. So what you really here for? What happened to you popping a cap in my a** nigga?" Herb said
"I was childish back then."
"Back then?! Nigga that was just a couple months ago! Yo a** ain't evolved."
"Herb can you chill? D*mn." I said
"Jayda why is he even here?"
I looked at him so he could explain.
"I miss my girl.."
"YO GIRL?!" Herb busted out laughing. "You funny as f*ck yoooo. Get the f*ck out. Before I beat yo a** like you stole something"
"This not ya house. Jayda what you want?"
"I want you to get out..you just making this worse for yourself D."
"I understand and I respect that." He nodded ,got up and left.
I got up , walked past Herb and went upstairs. Tbh they both made me mad as ever. I needed space.
