Lexa's POV

I sigh as I'm thinking of where to take y/n on another date. I could say we've been on many but that was just us parked away from her house talking or laying by a fire by another date I mean an actual date something we'll never forget. Its around like nine which means y/n is probably hanging out with Clarke or eating take out with her dad.
I was brought out of my thoughts when I heard my phone go off hoping it's y/n but who am I kidding I basically ignored her all day who am I?. I checked to see who it was and well to my disappointment it wasn't y/n

Costia🤷🏻‍♀️- what's up babes I was wondering if we could meet up just to talk you know? You haven't really been talking to me

Lexa- fine by me where am I meeting you?

Costia🤷🏻‍♀️- that park we used to go too. See you in five

Costia and I had somewhat of a thing going on but I wouldn't say relationship I don't know what you would call it I was to focused on hockey oh which by the way I should tell hellen about the university is coming to watch one of my games next month maybe get my scholarship back fingers crossed. I got up slipped on a thin jacket and walked out of my house.

*at the park*

I sat on the bench waiting for costia and right on cue she's right in my view

"Hi" I said as she sat down

"Hey how are you?" She asked and looked down at her fingers

"I'm great thanks what did you want to talk about?" I asked as she looked up

"Lexa what are we? I mean one day we are together the next you're dating someone else" she said looking at me with her eyebrow raised

"We were actually never in a relationship costia" I chuckled

"Well if I do this will your little girlfriend get mad?" She said with a smirk

"Do what-" she cut me off by kissing me. I didn't know what to do I should push her off what am I doing.
I pulled back laughing

"Costia what the fuck-" I was cut off

"Lexa?" A familiar voice said costia moved to look who it was and it was y/n. My eyes widen she just saw everything.

"Y/n it's not what it looked like I swear" I said walking towards her as she was backing up with tears forming in her eyes and she turned from me and ran. I just stood there like an idiot I didn't even try go after her

"Well at least we know what she would do and looks like you're available after all" Costia said in a cocky tone

"What why did you kiss me anyways? This isn't a joke. You knew I was moving on I wasn't gonna chase you around when you didn't want a relationship." I said turning away as I ran towards y/n's house

*y/n's house*

I've been knocking at her door for a while now I've been sending her messages

Lexa💔- please y/n
*seen*

Lexa💔- just let me explain for five minutes
*seen*

Lexa💔- I'm not leaving until you come out here please..
*seen*

So I did, I actually stayed and waited for her to come I'd say it's about what four? The sun should be rising soon. I know she's still up she knows I'm not leaving I'm just sitting here on her door step.

Suddenly her door opens I turned to see who it was to be faced with y/n tears still falling from her face

"Lexa leave" her voice cracked

"Y/n please" I begged her.

"Why? So I can catch you kissing someone else? This isn't fair Lexa why take me on these dates and make me feel special-" I cut her off

"You are special y/n please let me explain, let me make it up to you" I said trying not to let any tears fall

"I'm special? Sure didn't feel like it when you ignored me all day and you kissing your ex.." she said now full on crying. The sun is be fully out and the way it shines on her face broke me because she looks so hurt and vulnerable and it's all because of my mistakes

Her front door flew open and her dad ran towards her

"Y/n! Let's go! We need to go inside" her dad said in panic was it because of me? Did I do something wrong for him to get her away from me like that?

Y/n looked scared and instantly ran inside I didn't understand what was going on in this moment so I just sat back down on her door step again and waited for her

A few minutes passed by I'm drowning in my thoughts how could I let anything ruin what we had...

"Lexa you should go home" I heard y/n's dad say I just got up and nodded I still don't understand what's going on...
