Chapter eighteen

Y/n's POV

It was the next day which I'm waking up at 4pm because yenno my condition i looked up to see my curtains closed thanks dad who probably wasn't here he's been going outta town for "meetings" but I feel like he finally met someone If that's the case then I'm happy for him

I stretched and slowly got outta bed to do things an average  person would do in the morning but then again it isn't the morning.

I waited till the sun went down them made my way to work, I don't know if lexa and I are even dating I tried to text her a few times but I never got an reply, maybe she lost her phone and I'm overreacting.

I opened the back doors to the restaurant and made my way in

"Y/n!" I heard someone yell out of no where scaring me a little, I heard to see who it was and it was the one and only jasper

"Hey ugly" I laughed as he hugged me

"Ouch I'm truly wounded only because I know for a fact if you were single you wouldn't resist yourself around me" he said jokingly making me laugh

When he said single it like stayed in my mind because I'm not sure if I'm even single or in a relationship

I made my way to grab a apron and take some orders, working at the restaurant is really fun well if jasper wasn't here it probably wouldn't be at all

*a few hours later*

I grab a milkshake and make my way to sit in a booth because it's my break I heard the restaurant doors open two times but not bothering to look up

"Hey y/n" I heard someone say as I looked up to see who was standing in front of me

"This seat taken?" Camila said pointing at the seat in front of me

"Well I mean I had a date with Casper but he's a no show but seats yours if you want it" I said smiling at her as she seat down

"Is that milkshake any good?" She questioned after a pause of silence

"You tell me" I said pushing the milkshake towards her and guiding the straw to her mouth.

"Mmmm the strawberry part is delicious" she said with her eyes closed and I giggled softly

I heard the doors open sounding like a ton of people I glanced to see a bunch of people pile into a booth, I was about to get up but was pushed down

"Don't worry y/n I got this one enjoy your date" jasper said smiling with his hand on my shoulder and walking away. I looked back at camila and she was blushing hard

"Soo how are the rest of the girls?" I changed the subject quickly trying not to make it awkward

She starting telling me about the girls how normani attacked Dinah because she ate her hot wings then Dinah ended up pranking her,

We were laughing until I felt someone staring at me. I looked towards whoever was staring, lexa? I mean if looks can kill I'd be dead, she looked between camila and I, I looked who else she was with and the first person I see is costia I looked back at lexa and she was already staring into my eyes with realization and looked at costia

No wonder she hasn't tried to talk to me in a few weeks..
