I'm the sad song and you are the ukulele used to play me.
I've been written to make people cry.
I've been bathed in tunes meant to be listened to at everybody's lonely hour.
Yet with every strum at your strings, comes a set of distinct sweet, feel-good tones.
Maybe you were really made to make even the saddest songs sound
happy;
because that's what I become whenever I'm with you;
even when it tugs at my chest to know that that's what you are every moment he sings to you.
