She's the One

She was the one with a heart you tried so hard to get,
to whom you've made a lot of promises,
and made believe you're not like the rest.

She was the one whose heart has just been broken,
but for you, she decided to take the risk again,
told herself that if this, once more, would all end in pain,
then you're certainly worth all the pain.

She was the one who was ready to give what she had
and fight no matter how hard it might be,
little did she know, you can only love her when it's easy.

All your promises were in vain,
and she was right, it again ended in pain.
But she was still the one who tried to smile,
and said you were worth it, even with tears in her eyes.

She was the one who didn't want to,
but needed
to say goodbye.

She was the one who learned to live her life once more,
after almost dying from the wound you left her with before.

She was the one, who, after surviving from the storm, became happy again,
She was the one who patiently waited
'til destiny paired her with the right person.

You see her having the love she deserved,
the kind she used to beg you of before
but you refused to give.

And now you miss her and regret what you've done.

Because you’re the one hurting now
Sadly, it's a little too late
When you realized she was the one.
