𝐉𝐚𝐞𝐝𝐞𝐧 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐥 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬/𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬

𝖢𝗁𝖺𝗆𝗉𝖺𝗀𝗇𝖾 𝗀𝗅𝗈𝗐

Y/n is currently sitting on the bar stool alone, just drinking her champagne quietly. The music was loud, making the walls move a little. The bar was filled with drunk people. Everyone seemed to be having a great time. Girls and boys all together, dancing, singing, drinking, grinding. While y/n was in her own little world. Y/n was a teenage mom who is 21. Of course she had not meant to get pregnant at such a young age. It's nothing she or her partner could control. Her daughter looks just like her, not taking any of her partners appearances. Her daughter was named Lily. Lily is 5yr old and she was a smart,loving girl who y/n was proud to call her "daughter". Y/n and her partner had recently broken up. Lily and her father, who's name was Jack had a okay relationship. They weren't as close as father and daughter should be but y/n knew that he secretly wished Lily was never born. The reason they broke up was because Jack just left. Without a single goodbye or word. Y/n knew their relationship wouldn't last but it still hurts for him to leave. Especially everything they had gone through together. Lily still haven't even been told that Jack left which was one of the worst part. Lily would've been heartbroken. Y/n was overthinking in a bar. Shouldn't she have fun? Y/n left Lily with her friends since her friends had been saying that she was thinking too much. Y/n was drinking champagne to forget all her sorrows. Glass after glass. Looking around at everyone who looks like they are having the best time of their life. Except for her that is. No one really caught her eyes but it's not like she was her for a man. Was she? After drinking one more glass she maybe thought that she should go to the dance floor a little bit. Maybe start talking to people. She walked through the bar filled with people. She had not seen where she was going, that's when she bumped into a stranger. The stranger was quite hot looking. His messy hair covered one of his eyes. He's bright green eyes stared right at y/n. She mumbled a quick sorry before moving again. But something held her wrist, telling her not to walk away. It was the hot green eyed stranger. Y/n looked at him in confusion. Why did he feel the need to grab her?

"Excuse me?" She asked, looking at him in confusion.

"Do you not remember me?". His voice was deep and y/n could see the sadness in his voice.

"No. I don't think so?" Was all she managed to say. It was true, she had no idea on who he is or why he's grabbing her.

"Remember that Dorky kid in middle school who used to like you?" He smiled

Holy shit. Y/n remembers him now. His name was Jaeden or the nerd in middle school. He was a typical nerd. Smart,weird,nerdy and everything a nerd would be. Except that he liked y/n. At that time y/n was a very popular cheerleader. Y/n was quite rude when she was in middle school but that all changed when she started to get pregnant. Jaeden did asked her out once by giving her a rose and asking her. All y/n did was laugh with her friend and got the rose from Jaeden, but her next move was something jaeden would've never thought she would do. She drop the red rose and stepped on it. Jaeden knew y/n was cocky but he never thought she would've been like that. Y/n cringe at her cocky middle school self.

She couldn't help but realize how the nerd had glowed up. He was quite bad looking when he was younger but now y/n felt bad for rejecting him. He was hot now.

"I'm sorry, Jaeden." Y/n mumbled as a few profanity left her mouth. All Jaeden did was laugh and looked at her.

"Wow she was prettier than she used to be." He secretly thought to himself.

"I'm just surprise you know my name." He said

"Typical dorky Jaeden." She laughed

"Hey, I'm not dorky now am I?" He asked in a playful voice while smiling.

"I don't know, you ask me. Martell."

Y/n suddenly remember when she called him by his last name is middle school. She used to tease him and call him by his last name instead of his first just to annoy him. He left after middle school. But he knew that he still had feelings for y/n.

"So how have you been lately?"

Y/n didn't know wither to tell him about Jack and how she got pregnant with him. During middle school Jack was the popular football player who also liked
Y/n. Jaeden and Jack always had something against each other. Mainly because Jaeden knew Jack also liked y/n. Jaeden didn't want to see his girl with a Jock that only wanted y/n just to annoy him.

They talked for a little while, catching up on their life. Y/n was shockingly happy to talk to him until he asked a question that made her uncomfortable and shocked.

"So did you and Jack have a baby?"

"What? How did you know?" Y/n mumbled. She never told him and he left in middle school.

"Jack texted me and rubbed it in my face." He mumbled slowly. Looking a bit hurt.

"Oh." Was all y/n could spit out. She didn't know what to say to him. She didn't want to talk about Jack on her night out so she changed the subject. Maybe she should even flirt with him considering that she is single and the nerd had gotten hot.

"You know, you hella glowed up. I mean look at you, you're super hot now."

Jaeden giggled at her words. Never in a million years would he think that she would say that to him, because he really did thought that she hated him.

"Thanks baby, but you're the hotter one. I mean you were hot in middle school but now you're even hotter, maybe even sexy."

"Thanks babe, the flow is probably from the champagne. It's called the "champagne glow."

"Well whatever it's called doesn't matter because you're still hot as hell."

Y/n blushed at his word. She had never felt this way when she was with Jack. Jack never complimented her or made her feel like there was butterflies in her stomach. Oh how much she regretted being with him.

After taking a few shots and drinking champagne, y/n knew it was time to go home. Jaeden had bought y/n a few drinks and now she is completely wasted. He didn't want her being in a Uber drunk. So he offered to take her home. Y/n denied and said "I could go by myself." But of course, Jaeden took her home. They walked towards his mustang. The ride home was silent but they both knew that they had fallen for each other after that night.

Y/n opened the house to be attacked by her child. Lily. Y/n smiled and hugged her back. Jaeden behind her was smiling at the beautiful girls. Both y/n and Lily. Lily looked back at Jaeden. Jaeden caught her eyes and gave her a smile, but Lily did not return the smile, instead she gave him a death stare. Y/n of course didn't noticed and began to introduce Jaeden to Lily. Jaeden reached out for a hug but all Lily did was slapped him hand away.

Both y/n and Jaeden looked shocked. Y/n didn't raise Lily to be like this. She had raised Lily to be a independent open hearted girl. Lily was usually a kindhearted girl. It was a shock to y/n to see her act like this.

"Lily. Why did you do that? That was very rude to Jaeden." Y/n finally spoke out. Still shocked

"Daddy said that Jaeden was a stupid nerd who wants to take mommy away from daddy." Lily said. Her angry tone showed. "Daddy said he's the reason why you and daddy broke up."

Jaeden cleared his throat. Shocked and nervous. What was he going to say to her?

"Lily, I'm not trying to spilt your parents. Please forgive me. I could leave if you want." Jaeden said. Still nervous.

What was y/n going to do? Why would Jack say that to Lily?

"Lily, Jaeden wasn't the reason why daddy and I broke up. This has nothing to do with Jaeden so apologize to him."

"No no, it's fine." Jaeden mumbled. He was truly disappointed and shocked. He wanted Lily to love him. Maybe even too call him dad.

Lily's eyes stated to tear up. Y/n knew that Lily felt bad. Lily never cry unless it's something that really bothers her. Lily then pulled Jaeden down and hugged him. Her tears straining Jaedens shirt. He hugged her back. He then kissed her head and whispered something to her ears that made her giggle. Y/n watched in awe. This was truly a perfect family that she wanted. Both of them brought Lily to bed and y/n grabbed a champagne bottle and poured it into a fancy cup.

"Cheers to the champagne glow." She giggled out

"Cheers to the champagne glow." Jaeden laughed out.

Both of them pulled into a kiss. The kiss that led them into a family. Jaeden,Y/n,Lily. The champagne glow family.
