It was going to be a unusual night for them, she could already tell.

Y/n looks at herself one last time in the mirror before she feels a hand at around her waist, grabbing her with the softest touch. The touch was almost to soft and gentle, maybe even too pure.

"Are you ready to head out, beautiful?" Jaeden asks as he kisses her so lovingly. She nods as she kisses him back, a smile crept onto her lips.

"Yes, handsome."

They finally made their way to the restaurant. Tonight was indeed, going to be a unusual night for them, maybe more unusual for him. This was going to be Jaeden's first time meeting her parents, after all, they've dated for more than a while. She didn't want him to meet her parents too early, but neither did she want them to meet so late. It took a while for them to find the right time, but she knew she better do it soon; before it was too late. At first, she didn't know how to tell him, how to tell him she finally wanted him to meet her parents, but she just simply mentioned to him during dinner. He was shocked to say the least, cause he knew how important her parents were, and how close she was to them.

Jaeden just hopes his first impression isn't going to be too bad.
♥♥♥
Her heels nervously taps the floor as she fiddles with her phone, and he notices. Jaeden glances to her legs, tapping on the floor, then he looks over to her face. Her face was in deep concentration, and she's clearly worried. He doesn't blame her, because he too feels nervous. He knew how much of hypocrites her parents were from all of her stories that she tells him, and it was a lot. Although he's never actually met them (and this will be his first time meeting him), he feels like he already knows their behavior. Maybe it was because most parents are the same, strict, but he knew it was because they wanted the best for their children. His parents were strict and hypocrites too, maybe just not as much as hers.

He's just scared of what they're going to think about him, like most people would be. He didn't want to fuck anything up. Maybe if he actually had done something that was completely fucked up, he wouldn't be able to see her again, maybe he wouldn't be able to marry her, maybe he won't be able to have kids with her and start a family, maybe he wouldn't be able to love her. He knows he can't mess up, or he'll be in big trouble.

Jaeden puts his hands on top of hers before grabbing her hand delicately, as if she was some sort of fragile object. She quickly tenses up at the feeling of a unexpected grip. Her eyes immediately turned to look back at her hand, which was now being held by his hands. She relaxed a little, knowing that it was just him and it wasn't some strange creep. She looks back at him now, staring into his eyes, a little smile crept onto her lips.

"You nervous?" He asks her, kissing her hands gently.

She nods her head before quickly moving her hands out of her grip, and now she was more tense. Jaeden quickly looked her shocked that she pulled away from his hand grip. Why the hell would she do that? Before he could ask her anything, someone spoke up.

"Hope we weren't interrupting anything, considering you were the one inviting us."
Y/n's dad says as he glares at the two, especially staring at Jaeden.

Jaeden clears his throat before introducing himself to her parents. While he was introducing himself to her parents, his voice began to crack. He watches her parents trying their hardest not to laugh, considering he sounded like a 14 year old that just hit puberty. It wasn't new to him, his voice cracks. Whenever he felt nervous, his voice began to crack, but it wasn't as bad at this. He couldn't make out one sentence without a random voice crack, and he felt terrible. He felt so ashamed of himself for being so nervous that he couldn't control himself. He looks over to y/n to see her smiling awkwardly at him, which gave him a little more confidence just by seeing her smile. A sudden wave of confidence began to take control of Jaeden as he introduces himself to her parents.

And by the time they got their meal, he was no longer having his voice cracks but instead, he was enjoying a nice conversations with her parents. Sure at first it was rocky and he was not confident in himself but as the dinner went on, he felt better than he did.

Y/n now watching the love of her life having a lovely conversation with her parents, and it did  warm her heart. It was so nice seeing Jaeden getting along with her parents. Although she was as worried as him, the dinner was going nicely, better than she planned it would. But after a while, she grew bored of the conversation about politics that her parents and Jaeden were discussing. She simply excused herself and headed towards the bathroom but when she got back to the table, she noticed another male sitting on her chair. The male didn't appear to be Jaeden or her dad, who else could it be? She made her way closer to the table, where the male turned his head to look at her.

Shit

This isn't going to turn out well for her.

Hey guys! So I haven't been updating this book or my Devils angel book since December because I've been really busy with school and friends lately! But since I don't have school for another whole month because of the Corona, I'll have more time to post. Another thing I wanted to tell you guys was that I wrote a Jacob Thrombey book but I've decided not to post the actual book because I felt like the plot wasn't as good as I wanted it to be. But I do want to start a new book but I don't know who I should exactly write it about. I definitely want it to be a character Jaeden plays, but I don't exactly have a preference. If you guys want a story on one of his characters feel free to tell me! I also want to know if you guys prefer OC main characters or X-readers so also don't be shy to tell me what you guys prefer! I'll also continue with writing my Devils angel book even if I start a new story. I haven't been writing a lot but you guys got this book to 1k votes and I really appreciate you guys🥺.
