She can't believe her luck. She can't believe any of this, she didn't want to believe any of this but she knew she had too. There's nothing y/n could've done, she had to live with the fact that he cheated and didn't love her back, even if all her heart was him. She had to leave, she couldn't managed to stay with someone who doesn't love her back, she can't manage to think about him with another girl. Especially because he loved their kids so much, she could see the love in his eyes when he stared at them.
She decided it was for the better, better moving away and healing her heart instead of having it broken once again. She knew if she stayed her heart would fade away till it died. So that's why she did. Y/n packed her bags and left him, left his sorry ass. She really didn't know where to go, but she knew she was going to have to go somewhere. She wanted to go to their summer house near the east coast.
Every summer they would drove down to the coast for a little get away. She remembers their kids running around in the sand, stomping into the cold substance known as the ocean. The wind blew from the ocean onto the surface, the sun shining down on them at the beach. The smiles and laughs left on the shore. She remembers going into their summer beach house with him. She remembers restless nights with him, telling stories about their kids, planning on what they were going to do tomorrow. The memories flew in and her tears flew out. There was no way she could stay in their summer house without thinking about their memories together. It pained her, the house was so precious to them, it was more than a house, it was their memories.
She had no chance of living in that house, the memories were way to painful. But she could live with her college best friend. His name was Elliot and he was always welcoming, he helped her with every fight she had with Jaeden, always trying to get her out of the blues. In college they were inseparable, always doing everything together, having the same group of friends, even sharing the same dorm room. But they were just friend y/n always said, nothing more. Elliot had taken a offense to that, he liked her at the time. He liked everything about her. Her smile, her eyes, her hair, and her personality. Elliot could go on and on about how much he loved her. It broke his heart to realize that she started dating Jaeden. She had introduced Jaeden to him when they were at the movie theater all together. There was just something Elliot didn't like about Jaeden, maybe it was the way he looked and acted, Jaeden hasn't been the nicest to him or maybe it because Jaeden was with his girl.
Once Elliot knew they were dating, he tried everything to ruin their relationship. His first plan was to get y/n to trust him, he managed this goal by helping y/n with her Jaeden problem. Always trying to "help" by giving her bad advices. Advices like to break up with him and dump his ass, but it never worked. She always went back to her dear Jaeden.
When Elliot found out y/n and Jaeden had kids, he was devastated. All Elliot wanted in life was spend his life with his best friend or his love. Elliot wanted to finish college with her and move in together. He wanted to marry her and have kids with her. Elliot wanted their life to be perfect but it was all ruined, ruined just because of a ass named Jaeden got her first. Jaeden took everything from Elliot. His wife, his children, and his feature. Elliot sure as hell isn't going to let Jaeden get away, after all the things he did.
Jessica? Jessica was actually Elliot's sister. And she somehow was working in the same office as Jaeden, and that's how his plan came to be. Elliot told Jessica to invite him into her house, saying that he should be there for work. Elliot than followed Jessica and Jaeden into her house, taking a video of them heading inside. He even told Jessica to tell everyone about her "fucking" Jaeden. Even yelling y/n. Elliot knew that it was going to hurt her, he didn't want to hurt his best friend but he wanted to have her, to love her.

Y/n had contacted Elliot, making sure he knew that she was going to stay with him for a while. Elliot of course welcomed her into the house, showed her their room (which she had to share with him), the kid's rooms, and they catches up a bit.
Just because they were best friends, but they haven't spoken in a while. After all, y/n has quite been busy with her own life with the kids and everything. She missed talking to him, she missed catching up with him. So that's what they did all afternoon, catching up on things.

Jaeden knew he had to find them. The letter wasn't enough for him. He wanted to talk to her in person, to see her face, to hear her voice. He sure as hell didn't want to leave her, he actually wanted to spend his life with her. Jaeden wanted to grow old with her, watch as their children grow, watch their grandchildren bloom, spoil their grandkids. He wanted to do everything with her, but now she's gone. It felt as if a piece of him had been gone, and he's slowly dying without this other piece, his better piece. Jaeden wanted to find y/n, wanted to tell her that it's not what it looks like, to say that those were false rumors. Where could she be? He haven't had a little piece of clue. She couldn't go anywhere far, in fact, she didn't even have anywhere to go. He knew she wouldn't be at their summer beach house, there was no way that she was going to be staying in that painful pool of memories, but he can't help but try. He knew she definitely wasn't going to be there, but he's going anyway, the little part of him was still hopeful. But a part of him died down, knowing that she isn't going to be at the summer beach house, and she won't be close to home. But he's still hopeful. Still hopeful to find her, to find the missing piece of him.

By now y/n was already in bed with Elliot, not doing anything other then laying with each other, in the same bed. The house had been the exact house they stayed in when they were in college, the same walls and roof as when they were teenagers. She knew that they weren't doing anything but it still made her feel guilty, the thought of just sleeping with another hurts her heart. But after all they were just best friend, nothing else. She should've been tired, when her head hits the pillow she should've been asleep. But thinking of him keeps her up, she definitely as hell missed him. She didn't even hear his voice in the rumor (if it was even a rumor). After a long day of chatting and keeping up with her best friend, ignoring Jaeden's texts and calls, and even taking care of her kids should've made her tired. There's no way she would be sleeping tonight, thinking too much about him breaks her heart. She lays silently in his bed, not his as in Jaeden but her best friend instead.
Elliot knew she was up, he knew she was thinking of Jaeden. Elliot knew how much she missed him. From their conversations about him, Elliot could see her eyes sparkling when the name "Jaeden" was tossed in the air. He saw whenever she talked about Jaeden, a little burning passion sparkles in her eyes. The way she describes him, saying how he's "perfect" and "hers". It was no secret she still was in love with Jaeden. Elliot knows his best friend. He knows how much she loves Jaeden, he knows the way her eyes flutter when talking about Jaeden, he knows her blushing cheeks when talking about Jaeden. And he definitely knew that she felt uncomfortable sleeping in his bed, the way her body tenses up whenever he lays a hand on her. When he lays a hand on her hips, she silently removed his hand from her torso.
Y/n definitely couldn't handle this anymore, she stepped out of his bed. She puts on her shoes and goes outside for a little night air. Maybe she's just paranoid about this whole thing. Maybe if she would get some late night air she would lose her worries, maybe it would keep her sane for a couple of days.

No luck there, not that Jaeden would've thought that she would've been in their beach house. Where the hell could she be? He lost all of his sanity looking for her. He always wasn't feeling very well either, his mind was blasting memories of them together and it hurts him. He just wanted to drink the night away, and that's what he did. He gave up on her, he went for a drink instead. He wanted the drink the memories out of him, drink his night away, drink his sadness away. After a couple shots had gone down he's had enough. Jaeden had 10 shots of pure Vodka and he wasn't going to last anymore.
His head swarmed around while he was driving. He couldn't think straight, or even see straight. He had too many drinks and he knows, he knows how y/n would've been disappointed in him.
It definitely wasn't safe to be swerving all over the roads, especially at night when all he's had was too many drinks and a heartbreak. So he parked in a little neighborhood.
Jaeden noticed a little figure outside of one's house. He couldn't really see her, considering how dark it was outside but the little fairy light outside showed her figure. She was wearing a oversized shirt (just like how y/n used to wear his shirts), her hair was in a messy bun. She appears to be looking at the sky, not noticing him.
She looked oddly filmier. Her height was maybe the same night of y/n, her body was identical to y/n's.
Jaeden didn't really know if he was seeing things, imagining things, or maybe it's actually her. He can't really trust himself right now, he's completely wasted and probably not in his right state of mind. But he's going to take a shot. He quietly moved closer to her. She was still staring right into the night skies, her eyes sparkling along with the stars. Jaeden immediately knew it was her, he remembers how her eyes would light up along with the skies when they were star gazing. He immediately embraced her into a hug without her knowing, she jolted feeling the unexpected hug.
She immediately knew it was him, his warm hugs was filmier. They crashed together with passion, their love for each other was never so strong. The hugged lasted longer that ever, their love was stronger then ever.
At that exact moment they knew they loved each other. They knew that they would forget about their past and move on with their feature.
They had better lucks now, once their together.
