"Why?" I asked the boy in front of me. He was clearly hurting from my question, but I needed to know. "She cheated on me." He sighed and I shot my eyes open, looking at him. "She did what?!" I yelled and he just sighed with a small nod. "With him." He added with a smile. "I'd rather think that about you. No offence." I smiled and he just nodded. "You'll find someone better." 
"Can I call Jeno and Jisung over?" He asked and I just shrugged my shoulders. Totally forgot about those two losers. "How have those two been?" I looked at him while he texted something on his phone. "Pretty good, and your cousin came back too." What else did I miss out on? 

After about 30 minutes of waiting the two boys came. It was awkward. "How are you?" Jeno asked me and I smiled at him. "Good, what about you?" He shrugged his shoulders. "Don't really know." He admitted." Pretty much stuff is going on at the moment. "I nodded and looked over at Jisung. "My dad and Jihye's mom are getting married." He said and I looked at him with wide eyes. "And I honestly never felt worse." He just sighed and leaned back onto the couch we were sitting on. "Jihye's been changing a lot since she's together with Jaemin." He told us and I looked over at him, tilting my head slightly. "She started smoking, drinking and I think she's even into drugs at this point." My eyes widened and the boys just held their heads low. "She comes home at around 3 am and starts yelling at the first living thing she sees. Or she decides to sleep at Jaemin's." I just shook my head, completely done with her. "Maybe if you talk to her." He looked up at me with pleading eyes. "You could change something." I bit my lower lip and nodded. 

"I'll do it for you. But what the hell has been happening the past 2 years while I was gone?" I asked with disbelief about what's been happening. "Nana got a modeling contract." Jeno said. "Teacher Kim got fired for harassing students." Donghyuck told me. "Jeno is still single." Jisung told us. "So are you." Jeno countered back. "Have you found a cute boy in Australia?" Donghyuck asked me and I nodded. "Yes. He's Korean too, but it's horrible." I smiled remembering the friend I had made back in Sydney. "Wow you go from one crush to another." Jeno rolled his eyes and I just sighed. "He's the same age as us, but I think he has a girlfriend by now."

"When do you start work?" I asked my brother while we enjoyed our breakfast. "In about 4 hours." He looked at his clock and then back at me. "Why?"
"Can you come with me to that animal shelter down the street?" I asked him and he tilted his head looking confused. "Heard they're hiring." He nodded and smiled at me. "We'll go right after breakfast."
