(Y/N)'s POV

Today Bulma is hosting a singing contest and she asked me if I wanted to participate. Even though I get nervous singing in front of people, I still wanted to do it. I agreed but I asked her if I could do a duet with someone. She nodded and then she looked around to spot anyone that I could sing with.

"What about him?" She asked as she pointed to Zamasu, who was sitting with Black enjoying a cup of tea. I blushed bright, I had always liked Zamasu since he turned over a new leaf.

"Why don't you go ask him (Y/N)?" I looked over at Bulma with worry on my face.

"I-I don't know Bulma, maybe I shouldn't bother him."

"Don't you like him?" I rubbed my arm and looked to the other side not saying anything but my blush is giving away my answer to her question. She smirked,

"You do don't you?" I sighed and turned my eyes over to Zamasu and nodded slowly,

"Y-yes I do." She squealed and hugged me tight to her.

" I KNEW IT!!!!" I tried to get away from her hug of death but she kept a tight grip on me.

" B-Bulma.....can't b-breathe....here." She let me go as I gasped my breath to get some air back into my lungs.

"But (Y/N) this is a perfect opportunity to ask him, since you like him." She winked and pushed me towards the duo. I panicked and tried to turn back but Bulma was persistent,

" (Y/N) come on you might not never know he could like you back." I stared at her contemplating what she said. ' She's right....I'll never know unless I try.' I sighed and nodded, thanking her and walked straight to where Black and Zamasu were sitting. I stood there fiddling with my fingers,

"U-um...Zamasu?"

He heard me call his name and he turned his head towards me putting down his tea cup,

"Yes (Y/N)?"

"I-I was wondering.....Bulma is hosting a singing c-contest and I was t-thinking about doing a d-duet and I was w-wondering if y-you wanted t-to do it w-with m-me?" I was blushing the whole time trying to keep my cool, ' Man I feel like a love-struck school girl asking out her long time crush out.' I saw him thinking about my question,

" Hmmm," ' he sure takes a long time responding.' "Sure mortal." My eyes widened as he agreed, I couldn't help to sigh in relief and smile at him.

"Thank you Zamasu, this means a lot to me, ok bye I'll see you when our turn is up." I waved bye at him and walked back to Bulma to tell her the good news.

It was finally time for me and Zamasu to sing and I was super nervous, ' What if I embarrass myself in front of him?, What if I mess up?, What if he doesn't like my singing?' So many doubts clouded my mind, but I pushed them away just as Zamasu walked towards me.

"You ready (Y/N)?" He asked as he adjusted his suit, I blushed and nodded straightening my (F/C) dress,

"Yes I'm ready." He nodded and offered his hand towards me,

"Then let's go." I grabbed his hand and we walked on stage and stood in front of the microphones.
