Sad!Zamasu x Reader Part 1

(Y/N)'s POV

Today felt a little off, not like any other day. I woke up this morning all alone, usually Zamasu slept right next to me but today he wasn't there when I woke up. I frowned but got dressed for the day. After getting dressed I walked into the kitchen and found Zamasu and Goku Black chatting with a cup of tea. I walked over and kissed Zamasu's cheek,

"Good morning Zamasu."

"....morning (Y/N)." I heard a slight hesitation in his voice. I looked with a sad look in my eyes, I walked away from him and started on making breakfast.

"Do you guys want any breakfast?" I asked as I got the bacon and eggs from the refrigerator. They both shook their heads and got up from their seats.

"Where are you guys going?"

"Training." Black said but he smiled, " we'll be back before dinner." I nodded and before they walked out of the door I called out to Zamasu,

"Zamasu."

He turned his head towards me,

"I.....I love you, be careful." He looked at me, I could see that he has pain in his eyes, he just nodded and headed out the door. After they left I looked down at the floor feeling my heart break.

' What's wrong with Zamasu?....Do-does he not love me anymore.' That would explain his weird behavior lately....and his distance from me.....A tear rolled down from my eye to my cheek but I quickly wiped it away.

"Zamasu....what's wrong with you?"

Zamasu's POV

As we walked out I couldn't help but look at (Y/N)'s eyes, they held sadness in them. I knew it was because of me, I couldn't talk to her....not after what I did. Me and Black made it to our training grounds, we got in a fighting stance and we went at each other. Hitting and block each other and this went on for hours. Soon we were both exhausted and we took a break. We got done with training and we made it back to (Y/N)'s house sitting on the balcony. We were looking out at the vast, and beautiful landscape, I couldn't help but to think about my mistake.

Black must have noticed because he put his hand on my shoulder,

"You ok Zamasu?" I looked back up at him with a tear in my eye.

"Black.....I did something terrible....."

"What is it?"

"Remember when we first destroyed Trunk's future? And I went surveying to see if their were any mortals left?" Black nodded,

"Yeah you came back and said you annihilated them, why?" I sniffled and wiped my eyes.

"Because when me and (Y/N) first starting dating she told me about her family, she told me that during that time her parents went to go find food for them, and I ran in to the....and I...."

Black eyes widened, "You killed them?" I nodded and clutched my head in anger.

"Did you ever tell her?" I shook my head vigorously.

"Of course not, she would hate me!" I tried to calm down, I was breathing heavily, Black came over and put his hands on my shoulder.

"Calm down Zamasu, I'm sure she'll understand."

"No, I can't tell her."

"You have to."

Before I could respond we heard the door to the balcony open and (Y/N) came out with a small smile on her face,

"Hey guys dinner is ready." We nodded and followed her back into the kitchen. While we were sitting down and eating I could feel Black's stare on me, telling me that I need to tell her. After dinner Black left to go take a shower leaving me and (Y/N) alone.

She was cleaning the dishes while I sip on my tea. She hasn't said a word to me since she told us that dinner was ready. She must be mad at me from this morning,

"Zamasu..." I heard her calm voice calling me, I looked at her to see her back to me.

"Yes?"

She turned around to face me with a solemn look on her face, " Is something wrong with you today?" I didn't answer her,

"Zamasu please tell me what's wrong!" Her voice raised a little not to the point of shouting. I got up and placed my cup in the sink,' .I can't tell her....'

As I turned back around I felt her put her hands on my shirt with an angry expression,

"ZAMASU PLEASE TELL ME!!!!!," Then I heard her voice crack and a few tears crept out of her eyes, ".....whatever is bothering you I want to help you through it...just please.....please don't shut me out anymore....."

I looked at her then looked down mentally fighting if I should tell her.

I sighed and put my hands on her arms,

" Alright....I'll tell you but you'll probably hate me for what I'm about to tell you."

"I could never hate you Zamasu." She said as she stared into my eyes putting her hands on my shoulder.

"O-ok.....remember how you told me about you losing your family?" She nodded,

"W-well the day that me and Black destroyed the city, it was the same day your parents were out in the city." I looked at her face and she started to have a worried look on her face, " And I was out surveying if there were any mortals left to kill...and I ran into them....and I-I...killed them." She had a shocked look with her hand over her mouth, like she didn't expect this. She had tears in her eyes as she backed away looking at me with disbelieve and betrayal.

"W-why?"

I had tears in my eyes as I reached out towards her,

"(Y/N) I'm sorry." She just shook her head and ran passed me into our room. I sighed as sat down in my chair putting my arms on the table, tears flowing down my face.

' What have I done?'
