Chapter 20

Melody walked into her living room and sighed, She was six months pregnant and alone. When she told CC things didn't go too well, he told her that he wasn't ready to be a father and then left. She spent that night with Crissy watching movies. She was depressed and just wanted to hide away from everyone and everything. She hadn't talked to Ronnie since tour she kept in touch with Ryan because he was practically her best friend, but that's about it. She made him promise not to say anything to Ronnie or anyone, she didn't want anyone finding out about her pregnancy yet, but that was all going to change, since she was close to birth. Melody woke up to hear her phone ringing, she sighed and picked up her phone off of the side table.

"Hello?" She said tiredly. "I need you to come into work today. Are you able to?" Her boss spoke, melody sighed. "Yeah, I may need to take five minute breaks though." she told him as she got out of bed the best she could with her big stomach. "That's fine, you only have two bands today." Melody then found out what time she had to be in and hung up the phone. She walked to her closet and got dressed in comfortable work clothes. She had no idea what bands she was shooting today but she didn't care, she needed the money.

An hour later she walked into the studio and clocked her self in. She then went to get her equipment and went to the room the first band was in. When she walked into the room it went quiet she didn't understand why but then she looked up, It was Black Veil Brides. she then shook her head and went to set up her lighting and camera. "Melody.." Andy whispered. "Yes Andrew?" She said not looking at him. "Why didn't you tell me?" Melody then turned around. "Oh your drummer didn't tell you?" She spat. "Tell me what?" Andy said confused. Melody sighed, "I'll tell you later, you're first pose for me." She said quietly but loud enough for him to hear. he got in front of the camera he posed in his normal signature angry looking face pose and sighed, "Melody." She motioned for him to turn around to get a profile shot, he did posed and turned back around to face her. Melody took twenty more shots and went to sit down. "Ash you're next, in five." She said. Ash nodded and fixed his hair. "Are you going to tell me?" Andy said sitting next to her. "After the shoot okay?" Andy nodded and melody got up to shoot Ash. She took about twenty to thirty shots of each member besides CC, it was his turn. He looked at her with a sad look on his face making her roll her eyes. "Pose." she said he did but then he made a silly face making melody crack a smile. She pushed it away quickly and kept snapping pictures. After CC was done she called the rest of the band in, she did fifty full band pictures and she was done.

"What did CC not tell me?" Andy asked her once they were in private. Melody stopped what she was doing and looked at Andy, "He got me pregnant." Andy looked at Melody's stomach and then back to her eyes, "That's CC's baby?" She whispered. "Yeah and does her care? No, I told him and he told me he wasn't ready to be a father." Andy sighed. "I'll talk to him.." Melody sighed. "No need, I'll handle this myself." Andy gave up trying to convince her and left with the rest of his band. Melody then set up for the next band that was coming in an hour. She was tired and frustrated and just wanted to go home.

Melody was sitting on the studio couch looking at Instagram when the next band walked in. She didn't look up from her phone until someone said her name, "Melody?" She looked up and saw Max Green. "Falling is my second band? Ugh!" She stood up and Max's eyes widened. "Your?" Melody looked at her stomach. "Yeah, wheres the rest of the guys?" she asked. "They're on their way.." Melody nodded and went over to set up her angles and lighting again. "Max since you're the first one here I guess you can go first and get your solos over with." Melody said after she finished. "Okay." Max walked up and posed for her. She took thirty pictures of him and the rest of the band still wasn't there.

"Whose the dad?" Max asked after thirty minutes of silence. "CC from BVB." Melody said. "But that really doesn't matter because he's not ready to be a father." She continued. "What? So he's just going to leave you and his child? That's not right." he said following her around as she set up. "Yeah well I think it's better this way. I'll be fine." She sighed stopping what she was doing. "But Melody.." She looked towards "Why do you even care Max? You hate me remember." Max opened his mouth to say something but the rest of the band came piling into the room. "Ronnie you're up." She spoke without looking behind her. Ronnie walked in front of her and his eyes widened, he decided to keep his mouth shut until the end. Melody took pictures of everyone and got the same reaction. I guess they forgot that Melody was a girl and was able to conceive children.

Surprisingly no one asked anymore questions Max was the only one in that band to know who the father was. Melody was on her way home after a long and stressful day. She just wanted to relax, but that's not what happened. As soon as Melody sat down she felt a sharp pain also known as a contraction. Her eyes widened when she realized what was happening.. She was scared and worried. She picked up her phone and called the hospital where they told her to come in right away. Melody stood up and got her keys and phone. She walked down to her car and drove as best she could to the hospital. Once there the doctors put her in labor and delivery right away. They did a ultra sound where they noticed Melody was twenty six weeks. "Melody what did you do today?" the doctor asked. "I worked two hours but it's light weight work and I got the okay from my doctor last month. "Okay, what do you do at work?" The doctor asked again. "I take photographs." Melody said wincing. "Okay you're about three centimeters dilated. You're progressing fast. At this point theres nothing we can do...Call whoever you need to because you're bringing a baby into the world tonight." The doctor said as she left. Melody's eyes widened as she picked up her phone from the bed. She thought for a minute...Who was she going to call? Her mom had no idea...Crissy was in Texas... She sent out a mass text to both BVB and Falling in reverse. She couldn't waste anytime, She also decided to tell Crissy, Crissy would want to know.

"Ms. Summers there are two groups of men out there for you." A nurse said looking shocked. Melody laughed. "Those are my friends, one of them is the father. "Oh would you like him in here?" Melody shook her head no, "Well..Only if he wants." The nurse nodded and walked out. A few minutes later Andy walked in the door. Melody looked at him confused. "CC told me to come in here...I said I was your brother." Melody smiled at him and spoke, "You'd think CC would want to come back here. I mean what was the point in him coming to the hospital if he wasn't?" Andy shrugged his shoulders as he sat down. "Is everything okay though? Is the baby going to be okay?" Andy asked. Melody nodded, "I'm not sure they haven't told me if it'll be okay yet.." Andy sighed, "Aren't they like supposed to try to stop labor.." Melody sighed. "I don't know...They told me at this point there was nothing they could do.." Melody and Andy talked for awhile until someone burst through the door. "Oh my god Melody are you okay?!" Crissy said as she rushed to her friends side. "Yeah..I'm not to sure about the baby though..Wheres Willow?" Melody asked. "In the waiting room with Ronnie..They wouldn't let me bring her back." Melody nodded and Crissy sat down.

"You can do it Melody...You can do it.." Crissy whispered as she pushed, Crissy was the only one that wanted to be in the room with Melody. The doctors came in and broke Melody's water shortly after Crissy arrived, Melody was almost done, one more push and she'd have her baby. He pushed and waited to hear a cry.. She started panicking when she didn't. a minute passed and a loud cry filled the room "Melody its a boy." Crissy told her, Melody cried with happiness, she was so glad her baby was okay. Crissy cut the cord and the doctors took the baby off to get checked, cleaned and measured. "What're you going to name him?" Crissy asked. Melody thought for a moment. "I don't know..I'm going to wait until I get to hold him..

The nurse walked in, Melody expecting to see her baby frowned. The nurse noticed and smiled to reassure her. "Shockingly, everything's fine. He seems to be full term, but we want to keep him a couple nights. You're free to go first thing tomorrow." Melody nodded. "When can i see him?" She asked the nurse. "Another nurse will be in with him in just a minute." the nurse smiled as she walked out. Crissy was in the waiting room seeing who was all still here and talking to everyone that had questions. So Melody sat alone in her room waiting for her son. "Here he is dear." an older nurse said as she pushed the bassinet Melody's son was in into the room. Melody sat up and smiled.

"He's hungry, would you like to breast feed or bottle feed?" The nurse asked. "i'd like to breast feed." The nurse nodded in approval and helped Melody with the positioning of the baby. "There are some friends that would like to come see you. May I let them in?" Melody smiled and nodded as she looked at her son. A few minutes later Crissy, Ryan, Ronnie, Willow and Andy were in the room sitting or standing next to Melody's bed. "What's his name?" Ryan asked. Melody looked up from her son, "Aidan." Melody said. They all awed and took turns holding the baby. Melody frowned in realizing Aidan wouldn't have a father.
