Melody sat in the nursery looking at her son peacefully sleeping. In an hour he was able to go home, she just came early because she couldn't wait. She just wanted to start her life with her son. It's been two days and CC hasn't called or said anything to anyone. It's like he doesn't care, just because he wasn't ready to be a dad doesn't mean he shouldn't care. Melody stroked Aidan's tiny hand with her index finger. "I promise everything will be okay." She whispered.
*4 years later*
Melody and Aidan have traveled across state and lived just about everywhere because of Melody's photography job, Melody has kept in touch with all of her friends and is now on her way with her son to live back in California, Hopefully permanently. "Mommy I have to potty." Aidan said "Okay baby." Melody said as she pulled into a gas station on the side of the road. She parked her car and got out to help her son out of his car seat. "Momma can we get slushies and candy?" Melody thought for a moment. "I don't see why not." Aidan smiled up at his mom as she led him to the bathroom. He did his business and they went to pick out candy. "What is uncle Andy's favorite?" Aidan asked as he looked down the isles. "Uhm I don't know, but i sure do know he loves sour gummy worms." Melody said as she picked some up. "Oh mommy look your favorite, sour patch kids!" Melody looked over at her son and smiled as he picked up the bag. "Okay baby we've got enough candy lets go get our slushies." Aidan nodded and held his moms hand as they paid for their goodies.
They got back into the car and started off their journey to their new home where all of their things were waiting for them. Melody looked back in the rear view mirror and smiled slightly at her son sleeping in the back with his lips stained blue. She turned into left into the city of LA that she remembered as her home. Maybe she didn't grow up in California, but the years she spent here were the best years of her life. She finally got to her street seeing all of her old friends still putting furniture into her new home. She smiled and pulled into the drive way. As soon as she parked she got out of the car and ran to her friends. "Where is he?" Andy asked. "In the back sleeping.. Is his room setup?" Andy smiled and nodded, "Just the way you wanted. "Awesome! Can you carry him up?" Andy nodded and went to the car picking up Aidan and carrying him into the house. "Long time no see." She turned around and saw Ronnie smiling at her. She smiled and hugged him. "i've missed you..." She mumbled into his chest. "I've missed you too."
