Chapter 3:

Charlie's POV
Ahh... I love the skate park it's the only place I go when I need space from my older brother. I stop skating and got myself a hot dog from the stand. I heard someone yell my name and I turn around to find Jake running towards me.

Charlie: Jake? What are you doing here?
Jake: skate boarding, what are you doing here? Aren't you grounded? About what happened the other night?
Charlie: no, Nick put me on house arrest, what about you?
Jake: nah, my parents were to busy arguing about this that they complelety forgot to punish me and my older brother
Charlie: I wish I had a brother like yours wanna trade?
Jake: and have a over protective freak of a brother? No way!
Charlie: hey! Nick, can be a "over protective freak" sometimes but he only does it because he was just doing his job as my guardian
Jake: more like he's controlling you and babying you
Charlie: Jake you only know me for 2 years. You don't know the half of it! The only reason why he does what he does because he cares so much about me, I'm the only thing I have left to him. He had to give up his whole life just for me!
Jake: alright fine, I'll leave it alone. But does he even know where you are?
Charlie: nope he's at work, Miss. Brown knows I'm here but I told her off when she wouldn't let me go
???: but he's here now? *folds arm*

I froze in when I heard that familiar voice and I turn my head around to find Nick with his arm folded and I said.

Charlie: N-Nicky? W-what are you doing here? How did you find me?
Nick: why don't you take a while guest?
Charlie: *gulps* Miss. Brown
Nick: ding, ding, ding we have a winner
Jake: I think he knows what's going on

Jake whispered to me and I whispered back.

Charlie: yah think!
Nick: Charlotte, we are going home now! Say good bye to friend Jake because you wont be seeing him for a while
Charlie: great, another week of torture
Nick: I wouldn't think of this as torture, I would think of this as discipline
Jake: well good luck Charlie *runs off*
Nick: *angry* let's go

I sigh and followed Nick to his car with my skateboard in my hand. When we got home I was sent up to my room and I was told to wait for him their.

I waited, and waited and soon he arrive in my bedroom. I sat up straight in my bed as he sat down next to me.

Nick: before I start what I have to say, do you know what you did wrong?
Charlie: y-yes I was disrepectful to Miss. Brown and ran out of the house to the skate park even tho I was on house arrest
Nick: exactly! You know way better then to disrepect an adult and me
Charlie: I-I know...
Nick: so here's what the plan is for the next week as my punishment... You'll be staying the whole week with Joe and Kevin in Dallas. Until you learn your lesson, you may come back home when I agree with it. Oh Joe and Kevin already agree to the plan

Charlie: your sending me away?
Nick: only because I feel like LA has changed you. You don't listen to me, you think you can run off and do whatever you want. You let your friends influence you to make you do bad choices
Charlie: I do not!
Nick: you do Charlie, and I'm not sure how I feel about you hanging around Aly and Jake anymore. They're being bad influence on you
Charlie: they're not stop saying that! Why are you saying this! I make my own decision they don't! I did this not them, they didn't make me do anything! You don't get to choose who I should be friends with!
Nick: hey don't you raise your voice at me, it's clear how LA is affecting you Charlie. This is not the Charlie I have raised
Charlie: I'm 13, it's apart of me growing up! Living in this town has not changed me
Nick: I'm sorry Charlie, but it really is affecting you. You may not see it now but you will understand when you're older
Charlie: why do you have to send me away! Can't you just ground me? Heck I cant believe I'm saying this but spank me too while you're at it, don't punish me by sending me away
Nick: clearly spanking and grounding have not made an impact. I'm sorry Charlotte, but you need to be taught a lesson about your action. If you ever disrepect Kevin and Joe at their house they have the rights to spank you understand
Charlie: *sighs giving up* okay, okay!
Nick: *glares at her* excuse me?
Charlie: *grumbles* yes sir...
Nick: good girl. Now start packing, you'll be leaving in two days. I have to get back to work Miss. Brown will be keeping an eye on you got that

I just nodded and Nick pulled out my suite case and kiss my forehead and left my room. I grab twinkles from his cage and sat down on my bed and petted him. I spoke with my pet rabbit even though he doesn't understand.

Charlie: you don't think Nick joking with me do you twinkles? I mean he can't seriously think of sending me away is punishment right? I don't think so either....

I mean I guess going back to Texas won't be so bad. It's not like I'm staying there forever. Plus I get to see my old friends again! I hope they haven't forgotten about me.

I feed pet rabbit before putting him back into the cage and I started to pack.
