Chapter 24:
Nick's POV
I sigh when Charlie ran off crying. I know this isnt a big deal for her to date yet, I just dont feel comfortable yet. I seen a lot of teenage girls get hurt and abuse by their boyfriend and I dont want that happening to Charlie.
I know she's a big girl now but I was just looking out for her. If only she understood how I feel maybe she will take it easy on the boys for a while and wait until she's a little older to understand where I am coming from.
I know I say this a lot, but she's my only blood family. If it wasn't for her, I wouldn't be where I am today, and I don't want any guy taking away the bond that we have together.
Selena finally came off stage, which means I 'm going on soon. I better go make up with Charlie fast.
Selena: wow the crowd is going wild out their *looks at me concerned* is everything okay?
Natalie: Nick,I'm gonna go talk to Charlie
I nodded, or Natalie could do it for me... and Natalie left and Selena said to me.
Selena: is everything alright?
Nick: no, Charlie and I just had an arguement a while ago
Selena: about what?
Nick: well apparently Grayson ask her to be his girlfriend and she says yes
Selena: what's wrong with that?
Nick: Sel, you don't understand, I dont want Charlie dating yet because I'm afraid she's rushing into things and will end up getting herself hurt
Selena: Nick she's a big girl now,
she can take care of herself, you want to know why?
Nick: why?
Selena: because she learned from the best, you
Nick: well I am a pretty great brother
Selena: you sure are *wraps arm around him*
Nick: I'm glad to have you in my life Sel
Selena: I'm glad to have you as well
Nick: I should probably go talk to Charlie
Selena: no you really need to get on stage right now because your fans are getting rutless out their, and we have an 11:00 curfew. I'll go talk to her
Nick: *smiles* this is why I love you *kiss her*
Selena: *kiss back*
Joe: *clears throat* uh... Nick, don't mean to interrupt but, you do have a show to go too
Nick: right, please talk to Charlie and I promise to talk to her after the show
Selena: dont worry I got everything under control
Nick: thanks Sel, come on Joe
Joe and I walk to the back of the stage, and I stayed behind the build board until the count down on the wall goes out, the music started playing and I started singing my opener song "Rose Garden" that I wrote for Selena as the build boarder opened as I walked onto the stage hearing my fans roar with excitement.
Selena's POV
I went to go back to the dressing room when I hear someone crying in the closet. I open up the door and turn on the lights she jump and look up and my eyes widen when I see that it was Charlie.
Selena: oh Charlie, I'm guessing the talk with Natalie didn't help
Charlie: *sniffles* I sent her away, how did you get in?
Selena: gianter gave me a key
I close the door behind me, I left the lights on and I sat next to Charlie and she put her head on me and I wrap my arms around her and said.
Selena: Charlie, Nick may have over reacted but you know he just doing this to protect you
Charlie: I-I know but can't he careless like most brothers do. I mean seriously doesnt he understand how I feel?
Selena: Charlie listen to me, Nick and I just had a talk a while, he wanted me to tell himself but he had to go on stage
Charlie: what is it?
Selena: he loves you Charlie, more than anything, you know he would give up everything for you
Charlie: yeah but what does that have to do with anything
Selena: Im getting their, he just doesn't want you to get hurt, that's all
Charlie: why?
Selena: he's afraid that Greyson will hurt you
Charlie: but Grayson is not like that, he's a really nice guy
Selena: yeah, but Nick doesn't think so because of his bad rep before he became famous
Charlie: like what? What did he do that was so bad?
Selena: n-nothing, but I think the two of you should talk about it after the show, I think he will explain it better if it came from him
Charlie: *sighs* okay...
Selena: come on, I'll go tell everyone that you were with me and then will watch Nick from the side stage
She nods and the two of us got up and told everyone that she was okay. The girls and I hang out side stage to watch Nick while the boys hang out in Nick's dressing room.
