Chapter 14:
After Dinner I told Nick I went to the study room to do some of my school work that I owe my teacher, he was very pleased with me that Im doing something about my school work but was a bit supsious about it so he was gonna check up on me every 5 minutes which means I have to look out for my time. I grab the phone from the room and dial the number so I can call for tickets. I ask them on the other line what I needed and took out Nick's credit card to pay, I said a number out loud and when I did I heard a knock at the door.
Nick: Charlie... May I come in?
Charlie: uh... just a second
I told the person I was talking to on the phone that I had to go, and In quietly hanged up and ran over to my desk. I took out my math homework and hide his wallet in my back pocket before getting starting on it.
Charlie: come in
Nick walks in and sees me doing my work and said.
Nick: wow kiddo, Im actually surprise you're doing your school work
Charlie: *roll eyes* of course I'm doing my school work, I could never disobey you
Nick: uh-huh, so what are you learning about this week in math?
Charlie: thank goodness, none of these stuff are base on fractions, because I suck at that
Nick: I know... I'm the one that use to grade your school work remember
Charlie: oh yeah, she just gave me a packet on what I know already and what I didnt learn and I need help with the what I didnt learn part
Nick: *smiles* I was hoping you would say that, come on I help you with a couple of question but then you have to get ready for bed since we have to wake up early in the morning to catch our flight.
I nodded my head, and Nick started helping me with the question packet, with the ones Im having trouble with. He also help me with my other homework, that I have been struggling with as well, before I was sent of to bed. I just hope everything would work out perfectly like it was planned to be.
The Next Morning.
Nick helped me bring my bags downstairs to the car and said to me.
Nick: alright, is that everything?
Charlie: wait! Just one more thing we forgot to do
Nick: oh right the pets, you go get twinkle while I go get Elvis
I nodded and we both walk into the house, and I ran upstairs and checked to see if I grabbed?everything from my room, before grabbing twinkles and running back downstairs and out the door to see Nick already their with Elvis.
Nick: are you ready?
Charlie: yep, lets go!
I put twinkles in the car then we went across the street to Jake's house. I gave Jake, Elvis the dog to him, before saying goodbye to him, and I got back into Nick's car. When I walk back, he drove off to Aly's house. I walk off to the front door and gave her twinkle and a list of things she must follow in order to take care of her. I hug her goodbye and see her and told her I will call her on tour and see her when I get back. I headed back over to Nick's car and we soon were on our way to the airport.
Çharlie's POV
Few minutes later, Nick and I arrive at the airport. Big Rob our security guard, who I like to call Bigzy, came out with our bags and told us he would meet us their at our private jet. Nick took us to the bathroom so we didnt have to do it later on.
I got to the girls bathroom, while Nick went to the boy's room. I took out my cell phone and dialed Kevin's number and he answered and said.
Kevin: hello?
Charlie: hey Kev... its me Charlie, are you two almost their yet?
Kevin: yeah we're already here, we were just waiting by the private jet
Charlie: great, Nick will be so surprise will be their in a few minutes we just have to use the bathroom
Kevin: alright, you do what you gotta do
Charlie: bye, love you
Kevin: love you too
I hung up the phone and went into the bathroom to use it. When I got out Nick was tapping his foot impatiently as he waited for me outside.
Nick: let's go we're already off schedule, I have a lot of things to do when we get their, I have an interview, photoshoot and sound check
Charlie: okay, okay let's go then, what are we waiting around for?
So we did what we have to do and went out the doors outside of the airport. We were suppose to catch the private jet to take us to our destination.
Nick: Charlie...
Charlie: yeah Nick?
Nick: do you have any idea why Kevin and Joe are here?
Charlie: *smiles innocently and shrugs shoulder* who knows?
The people around us gathered our bags and put them on the plane as we walk over to Kevin and Joe.
Joe: hey short stuff, nice seeing you again
Charlie: back at you
I hug Joe, then Kevin and they gave Nick a manly hug after.
Nick: what are you guys doing here?
Joe: it was all Charlie's idea
Nick: *turns to me, says sternly* Charlotte, how?
Charlie: forget how, let's just remember that I only did this because I love you
Nick: *stern voice* Charlotte May Jonas the truth, now... *cross arm*
Charlie: fine... I noticed you have been feeling down a bit, and I wanted to cheer you up, so... I called up Kevin and Joe and arranged some stuff with them to come with us
Nick: I thought you two had to look out for your mom?
Kevin: our aunt is doing that, she said we are still kids, and we should be out traveling the world with our friends, and not be stuck home babysitting mom, when that's dad and her job
Nick: who payed for the plane ride tickets? You guys told me you couldn't afford it, because I know I didn't.
Charlie: um... actually Nicky, you kind of did...
Nick: what?!
Charlie: um...
Kevin: don't be mad at Charlie for this, we sort of talked her into it
Nick: what did she do?
Charlie: um.... I stole your wallet when you weren't looking and took your credit to pay for their trip
Nick: I see, do you know my rules about stealing?
Charlie: Im sorry Nicky, but I just wanted to help them out!
Nick sighs and bends down to my level.
Nick: baby girl, I understand what you tried to do, but... this is my problem not yours. I know you hate it when I'm sad, or angry but... you dont have to do anything about it, okay?
Charlie: *frowns* okay, but am I in trouble?
Nick: well... no, I have to admit it was sort of my fault too. I should of told you the secret in the first place before you pulled all this
Charlie: What's the secret?
Nick: well we were gonna head to Dallas to get the bus, and also do a concert their, and I was gonna surprise the others and you as well
Charlie: oh, Im sorry I blew your secret Nicky, do you figure me?
Nick: of course I forgive you baby girl, I was never mad. We all make mistakes baby and dont you forget that
Charlie: *smiles* I love you
Nick: *smiles back* I love you too
He kiss my forehead and picks me up and Nick said to Joe and Kevin.
Nick: sorry if we cause you two any trouble
Joe: hey its okay we understand
Kevin: yeah and beside we would do anything for baby Charlie
Charlie: *pouts* I'm no baby
Nick: but you're my baby *kiss my cheek*
Charlie: *giggles* wait Nick, when you said "others" who else was gonna join us
Nick: you will just have to wait or see!
Charlie: I hate when you do this to me...
Nick: I know you do, but you love me anyways, right?
Charlie: *smiles* of course
Nick: come on guys, let go ahead on the plane. I'm running a little off schedule today, and I need to finish everything
The other noticed and followed Nick onto the private jet and soon they were off to their first stop in Dallas.
