After being outside all day with the girls and Bean, Emerson took a quick shower and changed into a red lacy dress, leaving her feet bare.

The adults had decided to build a fire on the little dock in a fire pit thing so that they could make s'mores and spend some time outside during the night, because being in the middle of the woods meant that you could clearly see the stars above, which had to be Emerson's favorite thing.

She was sat on Nate's lap as they laughed around with their families, one of Nate's hands resting on her baby bump thatwas clearly seen from her dress and the other was around her waist, making sure that she wouldn't fall off the side.

"Oh, Emery. Have you thought about what you want the baby to be?" Roxanne asked, smiling at her son's girlfriend.

"I don't know." The oldest Higgins child shrugged her shoulders. "I haven't really put much thought into it but I want a boy. But if it's a girl, she'll still have all the love in the world, from both parents."

"I remember when my baby was a baby and now he's having a baby." Roxanne frowned.

"Mom." Nate groaned, throwing his head back.

"I'm sorry." Roxanne sniffled, "It's the hormones."

"I forget she's pregnant too." Keithie said, leg propped up on an extra chair that they had laying around. "Damn, Dad! You're getting old!"

"Their all getting old, Keithie." Becky casually causing the teens to burst into laughter.

"Becky just made my night!" Emerson exclaimed, clapping her hands.

"I bet I can make it better." Nate smirked, looking at the others.

"What do you mean?" She raised an eyebrow, looking back at him.

"Stand up."

Emerson slowly stood up from her boyfriends lap as he stood up soon after her. He pulled her away from the fire and their families, but not to far away since some of them wanted to get it on video.

"What are you doing?" She asked as he pulled a black box on the pocket of his joggers. "Nate."

The oldest Feder boy smiled at his girlfriend before getting down on his knee.

"No, stop it." She let a tear fall, putting her hands on her baby bump.

"Emerson, Never in a million years did I think I'd find someone so utterly and completely prefect, someone who would make me happier than I ever dreamed I could be, someone that would touch my life so profoundly and gave me a whole new reason to breathe. But then I found you and realized that everything I anticipated you to be doesn't even compare to who you are." Nate let a tear roll down his own face, looking up at his girlfriend who was full on sobbing by now.

"From the moment I laid eyes on you four year ago, I knew that you were gonna be the love of my life. You've made me the happiest guy in the entire world. You're an amazing daughter, an amazing sister, an amazing girlfriend and I have no doubt that you'll be the best mom of all time to our son or daughter."

"Every time you walk into a room, my world just stops. You're all I think about from the time I wake up in the morning to the time that I lay in bed and hold you in my arms. You bring a joy to me that I don't think anyone ever has. You're beautiful, your smart, talented and I have no clue how you've put up with me and my crazy ass family for so many years."

"I wanna be able to spend the rest of my life with you and raise our baby together with two loving parents that will do nothing but care and love him or her for the rest of their lives. Emerson Jade Higgins, baby, will you marry me?"

Emerson's body shook with sobs, tears streaming down both of their face. They weren't the only one's crying though because the adults were also crying as they filmed the proposal. But they weren't only crying because of how beautiful the speech was, they were crying because they had spent four years watching the two of them grow and love each other.

No words were said, Emerson couldn't speak a full sentence without wailing because of her tears, and she nodded her head.

Nate stood up, pulling the ring out of the box and sliding in onto her left hand before grabbing the side of her face and kissing her, both of their tears mixing together.

"Happy four year anniversary." Nate mumbled, looking into her eyes.

"Happy anniversary." Emerson grinned, looking down at the ring. "Keithie did a good job at remembering."

Nate threw his head back laughing as their families came over to congratulate them, the adults for the second time that day.

"Let us see!" Charlotte squealed, pulling Emerson from Nate. "It's so pretty."

Nate grinned, catching his fiance's eye as they stood talking to two different groups of people.

"I love you." He mouthed, a wide smile on his face.

"I love you, too." She mouthed back, before going back to fan girling over the ring with Charlotte and Donna.
