Edit: it appears this chapter is out of order, this is before Y/N left jail and after she visited the hospital to help out.

Toshinori POV

"I was hoping you could do something since..well..you two seem to get along" the officer said after explaining her situation "but still..this is no place for kids" he turned to young Midoriya

"No let him be. He is close to her as well" I said before he took him away to which the officer nodded

"Alright, please follow me, I shall take you to a private room" he led us away from her cell, when I glanced back she was no longer smiling.

I have been told Y/N has not been eating the food given to her, her vitamin levels are going down especially now that she isnt allowed out. I was frowning at this information, what is she thinking?
I turned to young Midoriya, seeing him frown as well. We were both really worried about Y/N.

Once we arrived to the room we were told to sit down. The place looked bland and empty, just 3 chairs and a table, they didnt bother to make it comfortable for anyone.
After a while we hear the door click and Y/N appeared with another officer, they removed her cuffs and instead cuffed her to the chair. When the officer left, she started tugging on her handcuffs before sighing in defeat.
"hi guys. I am suprised to have visits, it's not weekend" she started with a smile "especially now that Fuwafuwa is here, such a pleasant suprise" she turned to him as he embarrassingly scratched his neck "to what do I own the plesure" she playfully bowed. Normally I'd be happy too, smiling as well but I couldn't take my head off the current problem. I was about to talk about it when
"How have you been Dr Y/N?" Midoriya asked, leaning in
"I've been..imprisoned" she said dramatically "literally" she finished with a laugh, causing him to laugh as well.
As if taking notice of my worry she glanced at me "something on your mind sunflo- Mr Toshinori?" She asked, correcting herself with the cute nickname she had given me. I smiled, a smile that didnt last long.
"We heard about it from the police" I said, finally lifting my gaze from the floor, I saw her smile drop with an "oh". Silence grew thicker until she finally broke it
"Maybe Midoriya shouldn't hear about this" she said and I nodded "sorry Fuwafuwa, come visit a better time ok?" she said reaching out to place a hand on his shoulder but couldn't reach, disapointed she sat back properly.

Y/N POV

Once Midoriya left the room went quiet right away, Mr Toshinori was looking at the floor before he started again

"I thought...I had told you that you cant take care of others if not yourself first" he was resting his elbows on his legs and his thumbs were pressed against the corner of his eyes. Looking at him in such a pitiful state of worry, I swallowed hard my anxiety and attempted to explain
"I...someone.." I started, gambling my words to see which was best until I gave in with a sigh "someone like me doesn't deserve to live"

He looked up, his face dropped as if he understood what were my intentions

"Y/N..." he said softly and I finally looked up to meet his gaze as it was the first time he said my name in such way "No matter how evil or bad a person is...everyone deserves to live" he said, dragging his chair closer to mine to place a hand on my cheek, I felt my face flush as his large hand caressed my tears away- only then did I realize I was crying.

"What you did then was for their good and I know it.." he continued as I recalled Tulip. I shook my head
"I've done so much worse" I whispered out yet his caring eyes did not look away in disgust
"And you have done so much better as well"

On that day I decided the same I did back then
"I will live with my sins until fate takes my breath away... A person who has done what I have does not deserve the freedom of death so easily"

However this time it was different

"I will live on for them...for him"

((AUUGH
I wrote this a lot of times and I hate rewriting stuff. Wattpad wasnt saving my progress ;-;
