Regina Mills-

"Aghh" everyone screams with joy.

"HA I TOLD YOU" I point and scream in Emma's face with victory.

"Nooo" Emma sulks. "I mean yayy, but I was so sure"  she shrugs off her loss and snakes closer to me. "Another little prince to waltz our castle madam mayor, I couldn't be happier"

"So you're happy?" I skeptically question because I was worried in all honesty. I get the feeling Emma's dream of having a girl was more of a fantasy, I fear maybe she wanted a girl and I was unable to give her that, I'd have loved a little princess but I am happy either way and I hope Emma is the same.

"Are you kidding me? I'm more than happy regina!" She coos, firmly clutching my cheeks and pulling me into a kiss, a firm forceful kiss actually as she expresses her excitement.

"Mom! I'm going to have a little brother" Henry dances around jumping on his feet. I pick him up and spin him around.

"Yeah you are bud" I coo. "And we have a name planned already. As you know Henry is our little author, so it's only fair this little boy had a heroic name to match, our children are named Henry and Hayden"

"Hayden... I love it" David calls. "Has a ring to it" which is exactly what I said.

Now everything is confirmed, we can now shop for a little boy however the nursery will be neutral. I want it to match the manor already. Every room is either dark grey, light grey, marble or white, so this little prince will have grey and its neutral. It seems my Calvin Klein outfit will be a better fit for him after all rather than the one I brought for safety if it was a girl.

My mother was right anyway, the necklace gave the right show of the gender and my mother told me she would not disappoint me this time round and that means a lot. This time I haven't got to worry about telling my mother, I haven't got to hide my pregnancy, and I haven't got to worry about caring for this baby because this time I know I can do it, because this time I have Emma by my side.

Not only Emma but I finally have a sister who will be an incredible aunty, this little baby will have a cousin to grow with and an outstanding responsible big brother to guide him through life. He will have the best grandparents ever because this time round, my mother is by my side and she promises she will be forever now and that's all that matters. He will have the town to love and protect him and that makes me content on knowing he will have the best life we can all offer.

"Congratulation sweetie, I'm so happy you and Emma, you have got everything in life and all I've ever wanted for you regina is to be loved, to have family and to have the happy ending you have always wanted and now you have it, never did I imagine it would be with my daughter but that's not the case, we welcome you to our family and we're honoured to have another amazing grandson to watch grow, I know you worried about suddenly becoming a mother to Henry but you've done an incredible job and he adores you, as you will this child" My friend Snow coos and she draws me into one of her overbearing tight hugs but I stay and I accept because if I pull back, she will see the tears that are quickly falling. I wipe them away and grin widely as I pull away from the hug.

"Thank you, that means so much to me" I coo, placing a friendly peck to her cheek and taking Emma's hand. "But it's getting late and being pregnant and all is making me tired"

"And goddd is she Mardy when she's tired" Emma teases quickly earning a dig in her side. "Ow... it's the truth"

"I will drop Henry off in the morning" David adds, to which I nod and kiss my precious little prince goodnight for the night, after all it his turn to stay at his grandparents.

"This was an amazing party and it's an honour having you all here, really it is, so thank you all for doing this and being here and being a part of our child's life" I grin, as I slip into my coat and Emma does the same. "Goodnight"

Everyone waves or gives us a hug goodnight and to finally congratulate us before we officially leave the diner.

Once Emma and I are free from people's arms and handshakes we escape the diner and she walks ahead but I tug her to a stop. We both stand utterly still beneath the fairy lights and the dark starry sky.

"I'm sorry..."

"For what? Babe there's nothing for you to be sorry about" Emma coos, taking clutch of my cheeks and grinning widely, and now I see it, she's the most happiest I've seen her in a long time.

"I thought you so badly wanted a girl and was sorry that i wasn't able to give you that but now.... now I see how happy you are" I state, looking down between the two of us, down at the floor in worry that maybe I'm reading all of this wrong and deep down she does want a girl.

"No, I wouldn't mind what sex this baby was, I'm just happy that you and I was able to make this little prince, I just can't wait to meet him" she coos, picking my cheeks up and directing my eyes to meet hers, my fingers travel to her elbows where I clutch her lower arms and bring her closer.

"Good, because I'm happy to even the house out, I'm sure Henry feels left out" I scoff. "I know how excited he is to have a little brother"

And now finally we will have two women and two handsome little boys. Henry and Hayden.
