Yuna’s breathing became steady again and she stopped crying.
They just hugged each other, enjoying the moment and the warmth of one another.

Chan broke the silence.
"Wanna talk about it?" He whispered, still holding her in his arms.

Even though she felt safe in his arms and already trusted him, she was still afraid. Afraid of what would happen if she told him. She was scared of him leaving her like everyone else.

Almost like he read her mind he said "don't worry. If you need time i'll wait"

She smiled and pulled away from him.
"Thank you Chan... For everything"

He smiled back at her. "Come on, let's go back. Its already past midnight"

She got on his back again and they headed towards the hospital.

"I am gonna head home now," Chan said after bringing her to her room.

"Alright, thank you for the nice evening" she smiled at him.

"You're welcome. I hope we can repeat it one day. See you tomorrow" he smiled at her.

"See you tomorrow Chan"
She whispered when the door closed behind him.

The next day Chan rushed to the hospital right after work, holding a new bouquet of flowers in his hand. As he opened the door, he saw Yuna sitting on her bed with her back facing him.

He walked up to her without making any noise and looked over her shoulder.

She had a sketchbook on her lap and drew the scenery of the Han river from yesterday.

"Wow, you are really good" Chan was amazed.

Yuna jolted up and let out a high pitched scream. When she turned around and saw that it was Chan who startled her, she immediately hid the book under her covers.

"DON'T SCARE ME LIKE THAT" she screamed while hitting him with a pillow.

"Nice to see you too"
He laughed and tried to stop her.

But she wasn't going to give in that quickly since she was embarrassed not only because he saw the drawing, but also because of her scream.

He stepped away to his mom's bed. He sat down on the chair next to her, his back facing away from Yuna.

He took her hand and said
"Hey mom, how are you? I hope you will wake up soon cause you know, I've met a really pretty girl and I wanted to give her those flowers just like I always give to you. But the problem is, she won't stop hitting me so I can't give them to her. I really need a mother’s advice here."

"Wait, you bought me flowers?" Her eyes widened.

"Will you stop hitting me now?" Chan turned around to face her.

Yuna nodded.

"Yes. Those are for you. I really hope you like them"

She looked at him with big eyes. She has never received flowers from anyone.

He placed them into a glass of water next to her bed.

She smiled at him.
"Thank you. You don't know how much it means to me" she said as her cheeks turned a bright color of crimson.

Right as he was about to sit on her bed, the door opened and Dr. Choi came in.

He smiled at the sight of the flowers on Yuna’s and Chan’s mother’s nightstand.
"I see both of you are getting to know each other better"

They both just chuckled and looked at each other.

He walked over to Chan's mother. "Did she show any signs of waking up?"

Chan shook his head.

Dr. Choi noted something on his documents.

"Okay then, let's move on to you young lady."

He walked up to them.

"So Yuna, I have some good news for you, but also some bad news. I'll tell you the good one first. You are allowed to leave tomorrow since you're tests all came back good"

She nodded.

"But I tried to talk to your parents so that they can come pick you up. But just as they never asked about your health condition or never visited, they didn't seem like they cared at all. They said since you're already eighteen, you have to stand on your own feet and you should start living without the help of your parents.." He explained sadly.

Yuna wasn't even surprised.
They had always told her that they would kick her out once she turned eighteen.
But now she wasn't prepared at all because the day she tried attempting suicide, was the day she had turned eighteen. She had everything planned. It should happen before they even got to kick her out, so she wouldn't struggle with finding an apartment or work.

Dr. Choi said "Do you know where to stay? Any friends? Your grandparents? Relatives?"

She didn't answer.
She didn't have friends anymore. Her grandparents were dead and all of her remaining relatives lived in Australia. She hadn't talked to them since the accident because like everyone else, they said it was her fault.

Meanwhile Chan's knuckles were turning white. His blood was boiling.
"What do you mean her parents don't wanna see her anymore? WHAT KIND OF PARENT WOULDN'T WANT TO SEE THEIR CHILD." His voice became louder at the end.

Dr. Choi looked up
"First of all Chan, I don't understand it either. But you don't have to raise your voice, this is still a hospital."
He then looked to Yuna.

"And I am not sure if Yuna told you, but they aren't her real parents"

Yuna looked down.

Chan felt bad for saying those things. He regretted his words. If he knew, he wouldn't have said that.

But he didn't.

Dr. Choi continued
"Nevertheless, you have to stay somewhere Yuna. I will give you time until today's evening. If you still don't know where to stay, we will help you. Just call one of us." He smiled sadly and left the room.

No one talked until Chan broke the silence.
"I am sorry. I shouldn't have said it."

"It's fine. You didn't know.."she spoke softly.

"Do you really not have anywhere to stay?"

She lowered her head and mumbled a "no".

Again it became silent between them.

After thinking for a while Chan said
"I know it may sound insane but do you wanna move into my home?"

She looked up at him confused and surprised
"Wait, what?"

"Well you don't have a place to stay, and I have a big house. Well I share it with eight other guys and it sounds a bit strange that you would move in with nine guys, but it's not like we are bad people. I’m sure they all will like you."

She didn't know what to say.

"But I don't want to be a burden. I don't know if I can pay the bills or pay for food since I don't have a job and besides, what if they don't like me"

"Well you don't have to worry about the money. We can help you find a job and believe me they will like you. You will even have your own room " He sent her a smile.

She thought it over in her mind. It was super risky since she really didn't know them enough to just move in. But there really wasn't another option for her to choose.
"Are you sure it's okay?"

He nodded and smiled.

"Okay. I mean trying won't hurt."
But deep down she was afraid.
She was scared that it would be like the last time she made friends and she didn't want to go through that again.

But she trusted Chan.
