6 Years Later!! (On Christmas)

Stiles' pov

"Stiles Where the hell is Isaac?" Derek yelled form the living room and I shrugged. I quickly realized that he couldn't see me since I was in the kitchen "Probably fucking Scott, Why?" I asked and I heard a huff. I let out a small laugh while putting some cookies in the oven "He's supposed to help me with the tree." Derek whispered but thanks to me being a bad ass fox I could hear what he was saying "My Love, must you do everything last minute?" I sighed and walked out of the kitchen after checking that the cookies were baking "Well I was waiting for Isaac." Derek said looking at me then back at the tree. I took out my phone and took a quick picture of him tangled up in lights since he wasn't looking. Since I had my phone out I dialed an all too familiar phone number and waited for him to pick up

"Hello?" I scoffed this guy answers the phone so unattractively it's funny "Are you coming this year?" I asked and I heard a sigh from the other end "Come on stop being the damn drunk that you are and come see your son for Christmas.." I said hoping that it worked this time but I just heard more grumbling and nothing else "Stiles you know I can't." He didn't even sound upset about it anymore "You haven't seen him in 6 years..Dean has been more of a father to him then you ever have." I said and hung up the phone why can't he be a decent human? Why must he be a shitty dad? "Sam's not  coming again, right?" Derek looked at me and I sighed. I hate that it's that obvious because honestly it shouldn't be "Derek what am I supposed to do? He hasn't seen his dad in 6 years and it looks like I haven't done anything to help." I said and he stopped putting the lights on the tree and came down from the ladder "You have done everything you could've to help..this is not your fault and I'm sure Carlos will see that." He said while giving me a hug and I just sighed I really hope that he does because Carlos gets pretty angry

"Don't worry Stiles I kinda figured that he wasn't coming." I quickly shoved Derek and turned around to see Carlos and I frowned "I'm so sorry, I really tried." I said and he nodded "Don't worry you try every year and I'll always be thankful for it but after the third year I kinda gave up on that...besides I have you and everyone here....and Dean." He said and I smiled that made me feel a bit better but I still feel like crap "What about me? you mention Dean but no Cas..That's a world you wouldn't want to live in." Both Carlos and I faced the kitchen to see Dean and Castiel eating cookies from the tray that was set on the counter top "Hey don't eat those!!" I yelled running over and smacking them both upside the head "Is the food ready?" I heard Scott call and I ran to the door. Why the hell does everyone keep popping up out of nowhere "How did you get all of those?" I asked pointing to the bag of gifts he had in his hands and he just shrugged "I saved up." He smiled at me right after that Isaac came stubling in with bags filed with more gifts.

"Scott I thought you were going to your moms for Christmas?" it came out more like a question but to be honest I didn't expect him to be here "Hey Stiles!!" Liam and Theo came running in and I laughed these two are like children "I hope it's okay that we came..My parents are at work and well Theo.." Liam trailed off knowing that the death of Theo's family was a sensitive topic and I just nodded "Of course I was starting to miss you two idiots." I said while smiling at them. I continued to set up the table but little by little the whole pack was at the house. Each of them having their own excuses as to why they were here instead of at home with their parents. From the information I got each parent was kicking out their kids so they could all meet up but hey I won't stop them.

After I set up the table with the food and stuff we all ate. Everyone laughed at the dumb things that were being said. I was overflowing with joy from seeing everyone here so happy because it doesn't happen often. I was ready for it to stay this way. The pack was no longer in high school and I'm sure they're waiting for the next moment where we have to fight something trying to kill us but for now I'm just going to enjoy this moment with the pack.

Short time Skip...After Dinner

"Are we all ready to open up gifts?" I asked looking at everyone who was sitting on the floor in a circle...they looked like little kids super excited to tear right through the wrapping paper and possibly the box.. I was reaching for the first present to give but was stopped by Derek "Wait! uhm I mean wait..Listen Stiles before you open that gift or give something to someone there's something you should know." I looked at him confused before one thought crossed my mind but I didn't like it so I ignored it.
