"Hey Fatty! Don't you dare come over to Lord Wei Yucheng!"

The insult was heard by the four when they were walking to line up at the sect. Lanying looked over to see the commotion, peering her blue eyes at a pair of green eyes that held a sort of glacial charm to them.

'How beautiful!'

She thought, making her way towards the person who was called a Fatty by the other, curiously followed by the other three.

"That's enough, Mei'er."

Wei Yucheng pats the girl's head with a smile as she pouted at him. The other girls around him merely fell more for the second young master of the Wei Family for his kind and benevolent nature.

Jin Su Mei felt helpless against the one she liked as well, glaring at the fatty in envy.

"Tang Xueqing, I don't mind if you are fat," Wei Yucheng states, "So you can be close to me if you wanted to." He smiled at her, earning blushes from the girls and jealousy towards the round girl.

'As long I can get this fatty to adore me, I'll set her up in the brothel to let my men ravage her all day and night. Let's see if you're still prideful then!'

The fatty whose name was Tang Xueqing snorted at him. Yeah right, go ahead and trick these lovestruck girls about how kind and loving you are! You hypocrite!

'So he wasn't interested in me all along?'

Wei Yucheng was embarrassed and looked away to Lanying, who was staring back at him curiously. He then went over to her with a smile and started to lean close to her face. "My word, aren't you my aunt's daughter whose mother passed away and was raised by her in your mother's steed?"

Lanying felt chills down her spine when he said those words. She didn't even want to get involved with the Wei Family but here was the second young master of Wei Tian Yue's brother smiling in front of her.

"Second Young Master Wei, Yin Lanying is appalled that second young master remembers."

"Yin Lanying? Ah, Cousin Yin Rue and Yin Rui have told me a lot about you. Just recently I've heard you are here to take the test to join the Star Spirit Sect so its wonderful that I'm also attempting to join alongside you."

Lanying could barely hold her act together because of his presence. This man she once called her cousin was nothing but a cruel being who was the one to kill Qiao Chi and Qiao Na after letting them get ravaged by his men. Yang Peng had informed her of this before but she could never believe it.

"Well, that will depend on Cousin Yucheng's abilities. If you'll excuse me, I believe cousin's father may had gotten news of your interest in men." She smiles back at the hypocrite before walking towards Tang Xueqing who gave her a curious look.

Wei Yucheng was irritated at her attitude towards him and was about to order one of his men to set Lanying up when he felt a cold chill on his spine. He felt like someone was choking his throat that it made him flee from the scene to the line of the front entrance.

Tang Xueqing laughed at him and gazes at Lanying with curiosity. So this girl was his cousin? Why did it seemed like he despised this cousin of his?

"Your name is Tang Xueqing? You look too beautiful for that dirtbag," the blue-eyed girl smiles, "Besides, I don't like him either for being such a hypocrite."

'She has the same thoughts as mine?'

The round and plump, green-eyed girl smiles at the other with glee. She felt like her deep, blue eyes were quite charming to her.

"Hey you!"

Suddenly Jin Su Mei and the other girls started to surround Lanying and Tang Xueqing, attempting to trap them until Yang Tian's voice came in.

"Some people can't help but ignore the presence of others in such situations."

The girls turned around to see an extremely handsome, jade-like appearance with red-blood eyes smiling at them. They couldn't help but look away from his sight in embarrassment and bowed.

"Greeting the First Prince."

However Yang Tian did not pay attention to them and went over to Lanying and Tang Xueqing. "It's almost time to test your abilities. Are you also trying for the sect, First Miss Tang Xueqing?"

It turns out that the fatty girl was from a noble family.

Suddenly the green-eyed chubby girl laughed loudly.

"Let me guess, that was Tang Di Wan right? That spoiled little sister of mine grabbed the attention of my parents that they never seemed to bother with me. So why should I bother with them too? I'll just stick to my own path in life."

Lanying couldn't help but be in awe of the girl's self-confidence. She wished that she had the big courage to set her life straight that easily, yet it's still not easy to set things straight when one does not know what they're doing.

"Even if you're going to try for the Star Spirit Sect, there's no way for you to succeed Lord Yucheng." Jin Su Mei belittled Tang Xueqing, "He is the best cultivator in the Wei Family and there's no way he won't be rejected due to his strength. He's way better than you."
