[Sean's POV]

As I saw the doors at my terminal opening and I also saw my plane pulling into the airport. Today's the day, the day I fly hundreds of miles from home to be with Mark. I smile and take one last glance at Ireland before boarding the plane. This is my first time leaving Europe, leaving Ireland- leaving home. But, for some reason, I knew deep down that being with Mark would be like home. He was just such an amazing friend. I would give up the world if it meant I could spend time with him. Markiplier: Once an idol, always a friend.

"Attention passengers, thank you for boarding Irish Airlines." The monotone voice of the pilot started. A boring 5 minutes later, she finally finished reciting all of the fire safety precautions and all of the passengers finally finished boarding the flight. To my relief, being in first-class meant I got plenty of legroom and nobody came and sat beside me. I plugged my earbuds into my ears and played some Linkin Park and Tool, waiting for the flight to take off. As I waited, I recalled the hassle of getting my bags checked and the annoying lady looking at me in disgust. She clearly didn't like my green hair or tattoo or piercings. Just because I wanna look cool doesn't mean I'm a criminal or something??

I drift off into a sleep however it was perturbed quicker than I thought.

"Excuse me, sir, may I offer you some of our finest wines? Or perhaps a complimentary bag of our special brand toffees?" A flight attendant asks, a tray in her hand. I stared at her groggily, in a bad mood since ya boi needs sleep.

"Shove those toffees where the sun doesn't shine hun, and bugger off with yer Tesco wines. Lemme sleep."

She clearly had expected that reaction and simply strutted off, offering the person in the chair behind me a drink. I decided I wouldn't waste my whole flight sleeping and took a glance out of the window. Below me were clouds, but it was sunny as the brightest day above it all. It was peaceful and quiet in the plane which I deeply appreciated. I dozed off again, clearly not caring enough about the clouds.

-A few hours later-

"Excuse me, sir-"

"Take your stupid peanuts and whatever else you're offering and shove them up your-"

"Sir, the plane has landed."

"Oh jeez, sorry. My bad." I stand up groggily and stretch my arms. I look out of the window and see that the sky was twilight; purples, blues and blacks filled the sky, the stars gleaming brighter than ever before. How had I not noticed their beauty? It reminded me of Mark's enticing purple hair and I realised I should message him to let him know I was landed and at the airport. I exit the plane, totally forgetting to do so.

As I stepped off the plane, I felt the cool autumn air embrace my shoulders and neck. The mild chill tickled my nose and I was positive that my face was dusted with bright pinks from the unexpected cold. I cursed myself for not wearing a hoodie and walked to the airport terminal entrance. I was met with a friendly face in the distance at the coffee shop. Mark was waiting in the cafe, staring down at his coffee with a grin on his face and he was... blushing? Why would he be blushing? It occurred to me that he hadn't noticed me yet, so I took my chance.

I snuck up behind him and gently placed my head on his shoulder and held my hands over his eyes.

"Guess who?" I said, super excited. Mark turned to face my and I was confronted by quite possibly the biggest grin ever, and also red hair (The red suited him better than the purple in my opinion) so my face lit up excitedly. We were both enthralled and he stood up immediately and turned to hug me. I hear his soft chuckles as my face is buried into his shoulder. How was he taller than me?! [Ps I know he's not but y'know. I need this.]
