"WOAH THERE GRANDPA, DON'T HURT YOURSELF." I told Steve teasingly, putting an hand on his shoulder to push him back against the pillow on his hospital bed.
"You brought Bucky here?" He asked incredulously. "Anyone could spot him!"
"Yeah, and anybody could hear you, so keep it down!" I rolled my eyes. "Besides, he's just outside in the car with Jacob. Jeez, you're being loud enough to wake the dead."
He frowned. "Yeah, well, by bringing Buckyhere, you could make him one of the dead."
I sighed. "Look, Steve, I can't just take him home to Tony! I don't know what to do and Nick isn't answering any of my calls..."
"Okay, okay." He looked around and lowered his voice. "Does Hill know?"
"No, not yet. I trust her, but I'm not telling anyone anything."
"Can I-"
"No! You're staying here on this gurney even if I have to bind you to it."
He crossed his arms like a pouting child. "So why are you here if you don't want my help?"
"I do want your help, I just don't need you to do anything physical."
"Fine. How can I help?"
"That's much better. What I was planning to ask before I was so rudely interrupted is: what do you recommend that I do?"
"You couldn't have called?"
"You know what, Rogers? I don't appreciate your attitude. I think you need a nap. Well, guess I'll just have to go ask someone else for help."
"Calm down," he rolled his eyes before adding, "You need to help Bucky blend in and stand out less-starting with his metal arm."
"Yes! Extreme Makeover!"
"I'm sorry, what?"
"Hard to explain-got to go!"

Bucky exited the rest-stop bathroom and asked curiously, "Why am I doing this again?"
He didn't seem particularly irritated, just confused. The first step of Operation: Extreme Makeover was to purchase him a pair of sunglasses and a baseball cap. Once we had done that, I had purchased electric clippers, looked up a YouTube tutorial, and cut Bucky's hair till it was a suitable length, using a photo of Seb for reference. It definitely wasn't perfect, but we could fix it later. Now, he had just changed into the clothes we had brought him from the mall.
