I arrived the next day in my normal school uniform but, with the help of my mother, my hair was done into decent looking curls. My mother looked shocked when I asked her if she could curl my hair. Usually I just brushed it or put it in a ponytail.

Jimin found me as I enter the front gate. "Nice, and I see you wore the necklace. Adds just enough something to pull together your look."

I blushed. "You're overreacting."

"Maybe a little. But seriously you look great." He gave me a thumbs up. I could feel my face get redder. We walked together into school. "Are you ready for lesson two?"

I looked up (barely, he was only slightly taller than me) to see if he was serious. "Already?"

"Fast paced course. I don't teach those who aren't quick on their feet," he said. "Lesson two: while applying things from lesson one you must also be able to carry a conversation."

I cringed. Conversation wasn't my strong point.

"Don't worry. Just observe me as I talk to people, you'll catch on," he assured me. I wasn't so sure.

I watched him, and marveled at how easily the words came to him. When choir rolled around we went off in pairs again.

"How can you talk to people so easily? It seems like I'm always tripping up and saying things wrong or messing up my words-"

He put up a hand to stop my rambling. "Confidence. Oh and here's a tip: you don't have to talk a lot. Just make sure it's relevant. Ok now what song are we working on?"

I held out the book.

"Really... this? Hmmmm. I like it. Pie Jesu? (A/N: pronounced Peeyeh Yesoo. Not Pie Jesus.) I think I heard the solo version before," he said. Again I was struck by how beautiful his eyes were. The thought came out of nowhere and I blushed a little.

"You're not doing anything after school today are you?" He asked. I shook my head. "Good. You can come over and we can practice."

At-at h-h-his h-house? As in... someone else's dwelling? I'd never done that before.

I must have been making a weird face because he quickly added, "My parents will be there, and my brother too. Don't worry!"

"Oh no no that's not the issue. Um. Suuuure, I guess I'll see you there..."
