Chapter 25

Eren P.O.V

My eyes fluttered open as I took in my surroundings, and I grumbled in resentment. I sighed and realized that I liked whoever was holding me, so I smiled before turning over to cuddle into the person beside me.

Wait a minute-

My eyes shot open for real and I looked up.

He's not wearing his...

I flushed red as I saw Levi's body completely back to normal and revealing his lips for the first time. They were plump and pale, but they were there.

And kissable~

I shamed my thoughts before studying his face. To my relief and shock, he had all of his clothing on, and I flushed red as I realized he was holding onto my body quite tightly, me doing the same as my arms curled around his torso.

I looked up at his sleeping figure before cuddling closer into his chest, loving his smell and the heat radiating off of him. Then I couldn't help but look up again, and I felt myself restraining my body from moving forward to close the distance between us.

I flushed red from such a thought and quickly tried to look away, but found myself almost unable to. I couldn't help but stare at his pink lips and want to know what they felt like.

I gulped and sighed before moving forward. I planted a small kiss on his cheek as softly as I could.

Then he shot forward.

I yelped and scrambled backwards as he looked at me in shock. He carefully placed his fingers on the part of the cheek I had pecked, and his face flushed red."Did you just-" I cut him off as I flushed a tomato red and I felt my eyes water.

I'm so stupid! Of course, he doesn't feel the same!

I quickly scrambled off the bed and hit the floor with a thump. Then with quick feet, I started running towards the door.

I scrambled for the handle as tears streamed down my face and wrapped my hands around it and pulled it open-I yelped as it somehow slammed shut. I whipped around just as Levi placed his other hand beside my head, trapping me against the door and between his arms.

Then my knees went wobbly.

My face went aflame.

My heart pounded against my ribcage.

My eyes glistened in the light.

And time stopped.

Because Levi had just closed the distance between us, his lips meeting mine, silencing my cries. I felt myself freeze until I sighed in content and strung my arms around his neck.

He took his hands off the door before wrapping his arms around my waist, pressing me against the hardwood wall. I tugged on his hair, listening to the sound of his erratic breathing and my heart beating in my ears as I kissed back with hunger, to which he did the same, if not harder.

I tugged him closer, and closer, and closer, just trying my absolute hardest to try and meld our bodies into one so I could be closer to him, and he seemed to like that idea because he wrapped his arms tighter around my waist, completely pressing our bodies against each other.

He held onto me as we continued kissing, our lips only parting for small periods of time while we caught our breath. My face was on fire, and I felt as if my heart would burst.

Luckily it didn't, and I enjoyed the moment while it lasted. Then he moved his mouth from my lips to my neck and started lightly kissing it, my heartbeat going a million miles an hour.

I was a panting mess, and I'm sure he was too. We pulled away before just staring at each other, completely shocked at what we had just done, yet thoroughly pleased. I couldn't fathom what had just happened, so I settled for placing my forehead against his instead of speaking as I tried to regain my breathing pattern.

I just...

He wrapped an arm around my waist and put a hand on the back of my head as he tried to calm down as well, and then I heard him snicker."Are you standing on your toes?" He asked with a chuckle.

I was quiet for a moment before a small smile turned into a chuckle. "Jerk," I whispered as I nodded, making him laugh a little more. We both kind of just stood in silence before I spoke."So do you..." I trailed off, and he nodded. "Yeah." He said, and I smiled."Me too." I whispered, and he smiled too.

We both just kind of crumbled to the floor, me still in his arms, and I sat between his legs as we settled against each other."But..." I trailed off as I thought about it, and he looked at me in confusion, his face still flushed red.

"Why?"He looked at me for a moment before he smiled. "Isn't it obvious?"I tilted my head in confusion and then he spoke again."I love you so much that just your very presence, your very self, just makes my heart flutter, makes me smile, and my face heats up. And I'm happy around you, which is an important aspect. Also, I want to know more about you and be with you, and just the thought of you leaving would be enough to crush me. I also accept you for who you are and even though I've seen your flaws, I still love you the very same as before, if not more. And finally... I think I truly love you because you make me feel like I'm home and that I'm loved. That's why."I felt my face flush as he repeated my words from the ship, and I couldn't help but smile and lean into his chest.

"Not what I was expecting from you," I mumbled, and he scoffed. "What does that mean, just shut up let me be romantic." He replied sarcastically, making me break out into little fits of giggles.

I looked back up at him and leaned closer. We closed the distance again, but this time it felt more sweet, and timid before we pulled away. We shared a small smile and I wrapped my arms around his neck before resting my chin on his shoulder.

He nuzzled into my neck before wrapping his arms around my waist.

This is nice...

To my distaste, I eventually had to leave his room, him winking at me as I closed the door and I felt my face heat up. I smiled with pure bliss as I walked down the hall to reach my room, my heart fluttering and butterflies just absolutely attacking my stomach with giddiness.

I giggled at the remembrance of his lips on my own and flushed red as I realized I sounded like a creepy, obsessive stalker.

When I finally made it to my room, I closed the door and leaned against it before sliding down to the floor in a dreamy state. Closing my eyes trying to remember his embrace. I couldn't help but smile as I took a shower, read my book, drew a picture of a sparrow, and upon other things, but they were all related because I couldn't stop smiling.

I wonder what he's thinking...

Levi's P.O.V

I sat on my bed as I reflected on what I had just done. After restraining myself from making a move on him so many times, this was definitely worth it.

I remembered how his soft lips felt and how his messy brown hair felt in between my fingertips, and his tanned hands running through my hair.

That felt...

I smiled as I remembered what I had told him, and how bright he had smiled, and the way his eyes lit up when I finished, making me feel I had said the perfect thing.

Amazing.
