Roselia's POV
Saturday
7:21 a.m.
"Jace." I said his name through gritted teeth. "When I said bring out the guns," A muscle in my cheek twitched. "I didn't mean being gangbanged by 3 people at once!" I blew a strand of hair away from my face as I got up to my feet after being thrown by Kade to the bouncy boxing ring.
"Yowch!" Evan winced. "I wouldn't call it gangbang." He readied his stable stance beside me.
"Yeah." Kade carried on. "That idiot won't let us within your 3-mile radius if we had any ideas." He pointed to the shirtless piece of greek god standing in front of me with a smirk on his face. Well, all of them were shirtless but my eyes were set on this particular one.
Last night, I managed to fall into a deep sleep until we reached their Hamptons holiday home. If I wasn't such a potato, I might've woken up to walk my way up to the bedroom- maybe take on a tour in their luxurious modern holiday home. But given that I'd rather be asleep, Jace carried me on his back as I pretended to be asleep to the bedroom. He managed to wipe off all the heavy makeup on my face before I fell back to sleep again in my skimpy dress.
Throughout the course of my sleep, I shifted around the bed and felt a warm presence beside me. I smiled, thinking that Jasper was out of the shower and in with the bed with me. I thought I was going to wake up to Jasper dressed appropriately in his birthday suit.
Imagine my shock when I woke up clinging to Vanessa like a monkey in need of a banana. Her exhaustion refrained her from waking up as I took a hot shower and decided on an independent tour of the house. Little did I know three of them were already waiting for me in the living room on the first story of the mansion, ready to kick my ass.
"Earth to Roselia!" Jace snapped his fingers in front of my face to catch my attention. He leaned in closer and I realized he had a fresh bruise on his right cheekbone, just under his eyes.
I scowled. That was going to be our discussion topic right after them handing my ass to me was done.
Noticing my scowl, he turned his head so that the bruise was no longer visible. A flash of sadness crept on his face, making his eyelids droop but he hid it efficiently with a smirk. "Fighting with people who are offensive will heighten your defensive strategies."
I grunted uncomfortably. "It's not as easy as turn around, dodge and jump." I shot my boyfriend a glare.
"Focus." His monosyllable response made my eyes narrow.
"On your left!" Kade exclaimed as he attacked me from the left. With the moves that they showed me, I managed to dodge an attack from Kade who fell on the floor due to his own momentum. Next, Evan charged at me and gave his moves away as his eyes remain locked on my arm. I simply threw my shoved my arms away from his hold and turned away from him. He landed on the floor on the opposite side of me with a loud thud.
Huh, that was easy.
This was the hard part. Jasper never hinted at what he was about to do. His eyes didn't focus on the area in my body that he wanted to grab onto. Instead, his eyes were strictly on mine as if there was an absolute law that breaking eye contact would lead to human extinction.
In one moment, I was taking a stance to enhance my stability on the ring. In the next, I was flung over his back and headed for my demise due to another violent body slam. He rounded my back with an arm in a swift action and pulled me back up to press himself against his chest before I took the fall.
He didn't break a sweat. In fact, he looked exquisite from all the sunlight that flowed into the gym. The house was lined with glass windows and doors, allowing the view of nature all around to be cherished by the people within and the same amount of natural beauty to soak into each and every room in this modern mansion.
