Chapter 10: Bam! And Friend Zoned.

Megan handed over Ava to Lukas who still looked hot with two toddlers hanging from his each arm, and then she stalked towards me, or the person behind me.

Nate squeaked.

Before Megan could reach Nate, I jumped in between.

"Now now guys lets cool down, there's no need to fight."

I laughed nervously, eyeing Megan's fist.

If my theory of Lukas being a supernatural was correct, then that would mean that even Megan was related and I didn't want my brother to die.

Megan backed away.

"Nate! Apologize. Now!"

I told the now shivering Nate who was still clutching my shirt tightly.

"I-I a-am sorry M-Megan. But you really are beautiful. You know, when your fist is not in contact with any part of my body."

I face palmed.

Megan glared at him.

But, was that a hint of pink I could see on her cheeks?

Oh! I have got a ship to sail.

Nate came out from behind me.

"Ok so now that it's clear that no one will punch me, where's that young man that I have to meet."

I snorted.

Young man you say? He is bigger than the average size of adult men even.

We all went to were Lukas was standing with Aaron and Ava still in his arms.

Nate looked at Lukas.

Lukas looked at Nate.

They both looked at each other, not blinking and after a while, they nodded at each other.

Uhh...okay?

Nate turned towards me.

"I will inform mom and dad that you are at your friend's, but be back before dinner!"

He looked sharply at me to which I simply nodded.

He then glanced at Megan, who now took Ava from Lukas and was rocking her as Ava's eyes drooped.

Nate gave her a longing glance, but she still didn't look up at him.

He sighed, and then turned around to were his car was parked.

I again looked at Megan who was now staring at his retreating back.

Something was definitely up.

I then glanced at Lukas who opened the red Lamborghini's door for me with one hand while holding Aaron with the other.

Stop drooling at the car and the one who's holding the car door.

I snapped out of my reverie and quickly got in.

Megan sat behind with Aaron and Ava who were in their car seats.

Ava was sleeping, so Aaron got bored and kept poking her.

Megan got scared that she would wake up and shifted the car seat to her other side resulting in Megan sitting between them.

Aaron pouted.

Aww! Poor baby.

I returned my gaze to Lukas who was in the driver's seat.
