Chapter 10

I feel Leo's hands give my shoulders a squeeze "Leo where are we going?" I chuckle.

"Don't worry were almost there"he assures for the hundredth time.

"I'm getting worried Leo"I say biting my lip.

"I'd never take you somewhere to kill you"he jokes "I'm a cop"

"Okay and?"I question, he chuckles.

"Hold on, stay right here"he says and squeezes my shoulders before I no longe feel the warmth of his hands.

"Oh my god, if you actually came here to kill me well I hope your ready to lose your job"I murmur but never got a reply. I was now scared.

Suddenly I feel my hair being moved "don't worry it's just me"he assures before kissing my cheek, suddenly I feel something come around my neck before it falls perfectly.

"Okay ready?" I could practically hear the smile on Leo.

"Yea I'm ready to die"I joke before he unties my blindfold. I blink letting my eyes adjust before I stare in front of me. It was a private room, candle light dinner, roses everywhere. Leo steps in front of me and I finally get to see the nicely fitted black suit he was wearing.

He smiles at me "Leo"I breath. I suddenly remember him placing something in my neck, my fingers reach up and feel a rose on a chain.

"You really didn't have to"I tell my boyfriend, he smirks and walks up to me. He wraps his arms around my waist.

"I did, because your my girlfriend and I love you. And it's our first Valentine's Day"He smiles down at me.

"It's beautiful" I smile up at him.

"Much like you"I roll my eyes.

"I love you"I say, he smiles "thank you" he shrugs.

"Come on, I'm starving. I did just get off a 12 hour shift"

"Oh yes, thank you for reminding me every minute we've been together so far"he chuckles and leans down to kiss me quickly.

"Now please come, I'm starving"he whines, I laugh as he drags me over to the table.

"Have I ever told you I hate dressing up?" I ask my boyfriend who was carrying me down the hall towards my apartment.

"Yes you have told me"He chuckles. He tightens his left arm around my waist practically hoisting me up as he held my god awful heels in his right hand. "Could you at least unlock the door?" He asks me tilting his head back, I whine a bit.

"If I have to"I say and reach into his suit jacket for his keys and unlock the door with the spare I gave him. He drops the heels on the ground as I set my feet back on the floor.

"Should I remind you not to wear those heels tomorrow?" Leo says as he follows me to my room.

"Tomorrow?" I ask him as I throw my coat on my small couch.

"You forgot didn't you"

"Remind me"I smile back at him, he chuckles.

"My mother's party"

"Okay yes"He chuckles as he strips off his suit jacket. "Help me unzip" I tell him. He unzips my dress and kisses my neck before he allows me to step into my bathroom.

I come back into my room to see him settled in my body, in his sweatpants with no shirt. He had left a few clothes here. I hop in bed with him and he immediately wraps his arms around me and pulls me into him.

"Thank you for tonight"I smile at him, he smiles back as he tucks my hair behind my ear.

"Of course"
