Continuation of the last chapter

I slap a hand over my mouth in shock.

"The hell," I say "I must of went crazy!" I sat there marveling to my surprise but soon realized I had no time for that.

I checked the battery percentage and quickly found out I was at 45% and it was only 3 o'clock. "Sugar, honey, ice, tea!"

I immediately open both the left and right doors and peek out. Nothing.

I sit back a bit in the old ragged chair and look at the cameras again. Chica was back on stage Bonnie is nowhere to be found.

Panic rises slightly in my chest. I start flipping through the cameras, bonnie is still not there.

I flip faster and Bonnie is still missing. I checked the stage only to find Chica and Freddy staring at the cameras.

A metallic thumping occurs and I freeze up. It's Bonnie.

Well, at least he's found. I try and take a deep breath and close my left door just as the thumping gets to close for my liking.

Reaching over I turn on the lights to see bonnie peeking the window with his fuzzy servos against it.

My hand tingles a bit as if urging me to touch his hand with my own.

I shift my eyes down to my hand than his own then slowly lifted it up and placed it against the glass pane separating us.

My hand felt warm even through the thick glass. I stared at Bonnie as he wiggled his fingers. Something along the lines of a smile covered his exterior and I, returned it.

Slowly the animatronic sat up and sauntered away. I watched him until the darkness of the picture covered hallway swallowed up his large form while I hardly noticed the fleeting warmth he gave me left my hand.

I quickly opened the door and hunched back as I moved my hand to cover my heart.

What was that? What did I just do? It felt... Right but I'm just confused about why I did it.

I shake the thought out of my head and check the time on my phone. 5:58 it's... Almost time to go. I don't know what to think about that.

My head hurts. A lot. I must be overthinking things again but luckily for me, the loud gong of an old clock snaps me right out of my thoughts.

I sit up, a bit too fast for my liking causing whiplash but I just shook it off and got over it because I just wanted to go home and sleep.

Slowly I tread right back through the dark hallway out into the now brightly lit stage of the pizzeria. I walk right past without a single glance until I got to the entrance, and now my exit, to the restaurant.

I turn around noticing I have caught the animatronic's gaze. I give a tired but fearless smile as a push open the doors and wave.

I'm tired and I want to become on with my mattress, blankets, and pillow right now.

I turn around to lock the pizzeria doors and peer up into the sky as bright stars gaze right back.

Today, or tonight, wasn't so bad. I have felt that my days from now on wouldn't ever be so bad again.

I started my slow pace back home, and if I'm being honest home didn't feel so far as it used to.
