(Peter Parker's POV, hydra base)
Every single hydra agent fell to the ground, motionless, it was kind of well.. creepy.. like something out of the conjuring.
I looked over too y/n who I noticed was slowly falling to the ground, her head gave the expression that she was in a daze, like she was in some sort of dream she couldn't wake up from. I ran over to her as soon as she reached the ground as blood starting coming out of her nose and she was coughing up blood.
"Hey hey y/n your okay your okay" I say as her head lightly rests on my lap her eyes swimming tiredly in her head. "You used too much energy y/n, why would you do that" Bucky says as he comes up beside her and looks into her eyes with a concerned gaze. "Guess Fury's pep talk worked" she smiled before her eyes completely closed. "No" I mumble as my eyes begin to tear up, I couldn't live without y/n, she was special, she made me happy.
"Shit" Mr Stark says as he comes up behind her his hand stroking his chin seeming to be thinking of a plan. "Everyone back to the Avengers facility, Bucky get her there quickly, we can help her there, she'll be alright" Mr Stark says trying not to show how worried he actually was.
Bucky slightly sniffles before picking y/n up bride style and heading out with the rest of the Avengers too quickly get y/n back. Everyone left except Mr Stark and I, we stayed back and looked at the mess.
"You gotta leave soon kid, the authorities will be here in a half hour and you don't want to get questioned by them and risk your identity being leaked" Mr Stark says as he looks over at all the Slightly dead hydra agents. "Will she be okay?" I ask seeming to avoid what he said before, "she'll be fine kid, she just used up too much energy, she needs rest and so do you" he says as I look over at him, a small smile creeping into his face for no apparent reason.
"You know why I'm smiling?" He questions as he looks over at me, "why?" I ask as he lets out a small chuckle. "I know why she used up all her energy, and it wasn't because of how much she hated hydra, sure that was probably half the reason.. but I know determination when I see it.. she was trying to be a hero kid... and that's not an easy thing to want to do.. trust me take it from a guy who flew straight into an alien portal to plant a nuclear bomb in it" he says as he shakes his head memory's obviously bombarding his brain.
"So you think she's fit to be one of us?" I ask as he glances at his feet.
"Yeah I think so" he smirks.
(Your POV)
You slowly blink your eyes open trying to adjust them to the light of the room. You look around and notice your in your room and in the comfort of your own bed this is nice I might just stay here
"is she ever going to wake up" you hear a familiar voice say as you look over and see Bucky pacing around the room seeming to be talking to Peter and Tony who where sitting on the couch near the entrance of your room.
"Yes Bucky, she's been in and out of consciousness the past two days, she will wake up eventually" Tony says seeming annoyed with him, probably not enjoying his presence. "Maybe Bucky is right, maybe we should worry about her a little more" Peter cuts in as Tony death stares him. "God kid please don't side with the guy who killed my parents" he says as Bucky gives him a pissed off look, "really you're bringing that up again" Bucky says as he crosses his arms, "Yeah I am" Tony says as he stands up in front of Bucky trying to look intimidating.
"Um.. hey guys I'm awake" you say awkwardly trying to stop them from arguing. "Y/n!" Peter yells as he runs up next to your bed and grabs your hand. "How you feeling kid?" Tony asks as Bucky runs up to you finally realising your awake looking as exciting as a kid who just got given chocolate.
"My head kinda hurts" you say as you smile over to Peter who looks slightly teary eyed. "Well your still recovering from the amount of energy you used but anyways school tomorrow, you'll be fine" he says as he smiles weakly at you. "She is not going to school tomorrow" Bucky says his voice now in a very pissed off tone. "Jesus Christ" Tony sighs resting the bridge of his nose In his fingers. "Education is important Bucky and yes she may be extremely smart and yes she may be extremely powerful but she's still going to school, end of conversation" Tony says as he goes to walk out of the room.
"Wait Tony.. uh I kind of need to talk to you about something.." you say awkwardly remembering the memory Elias put into your head so desperately not wanting to tell Tony but you knew it was the right thing to do.
"Yeah" he says bluntly Turning on his heel so that he's facing you. "Well.. when I was in Elias's office he um.. put another memory into my head.. it's uh to do with you.. well your family" you say as his face turns serious, "go on" he says his eyebrows raised eager to know what you needed to tell him. "1971.. your father owned an orphanage.. apparently he wanted to give it to you one day" you say awkwardly not really wanting to tell the story, "yeah I know the one.. got burnt down.. god ol' dad did love that place" Tony said not a single sign of a smile creeping on his face.
"Hydra knew about it.. they didn't like your dad.. I don't know why.. so they wanted to take something from him... originally they wanted to take you but that was too much work for them... so.. th-they sent me t-to burn down the o-orphanage" you said your voice breaking as you remembered it. "Th-that was you?" He questions angrily bitting down on his tongue. "I was in phase 3! I'm sorry, I wouldn't of done it if I had a choice" you say a small tear slipping from your eye.
"Yeah just like Bucky didn't have a choice when he killed my parents!" Tony yelled as you jumped from how loud he was yelling. "Tony" Bucky said sternly as Tony rolled his eyes. "Forget it" Tony says before storming out the door leaving you too feel worthless and stupid.
It was the next day and you where sitting in Spanish class next to Peter and Ned. You felt extremely bad, Tony hasn't talked to you since you had told him and you found out Bucky knew the whole time, yet another secret he had kept from you.
"So you're telling me you took down the whole of hydra with your mind" Ned whispering into your ear as you slightly chuckled at him, "yes" you chuckled, "that's so cool dude" he says seeming amazed at your powers.
Suddenly the bell rang signalising for you to head to Calculus class, your least favourite class, mostly because of the teacher. As you where walking to the class your phone buzzed "meet at basketball court" the message said seeming to come from an anonymous number.
Now In this situation you would usually freak out and not go to the basketball court but now that you're new and improved you somehow thought it was a very good idea to go to the basketball court.
"Uh Pete, tell the teacher I'm not in class becuase I'm sick" you say smiling at peter as you began going seperate ways, "what why?" He asked as you smiled at him, "hero stuff" you smirked as he shook his head at you, "he's gonna kill you!" He yells as you begin to walk outside.
As soon as you got to the basketball court you knew you had been set up, it was deserted there was no one there and you where beginning to think you where about to get kidnapped.
suddenly putting you right out of your thoughts a small portal looking thing formed in front of you. Suddenly a man dressed in a red cape come out from the portal giving you an unimpressed look.
"hello y/n or Caroline should I say, I'm Doctor Stephan Strange and we need to have a little chat" the man says as you give him a confused look.
New York just kept getting crazier.
