Lorraine's POV

I could feel a hand on my left cheek, caressing me gently. I tried opening my eyes and was greeted with Ray's worried eyes, he looks like he went through the labrynth again. I also look around and found my siblings around me, Jemima's holding my other hand while Lannion and Thoma were hugging each other, looking at me as if I would disappear any moment.

"What happened? Why do you look so sad and tired?" I ask Ray, ruffling Jemima's hair as she let go of my hand.

"You collapsed, there's blood coming out from your ears. Are you sick?" Ray ask quietly and I remembered, I remembered everything now.

It must be my body, reacting from the widthrawal of medicines. I don't know if that's a good thing or not but while I was studying the medicines before, I found some chemicals from it that is still unknown for me, I don't even know what those chemicals are, I can't risk.

"No, I'm not and I need to talk to you later." I said to him, whispering the last part of my words.

"We're really worried, Lorraine." Anna said from my left side.

I let go of Ray's hand before looking at Anna and the others, giving them the sign that I'm fine now. Yvette and Christie gave me a bowl of soup, I quickly eat it but halfway, I stopped, my body is refusing the food again. It's like I'm not even hungry but as I pat my stomach, I could already feel my ribs above it. I'm getting thinner.

"How long did I slept?" I ask, looking at them for answers.

"Hours, it's our fifth day now and we're just resting. Ray carried you while walking." Gilda answered while Don nudge the side of Ray as he blush.

"Thank you, Ray." I said, looking up to the raven haired boy with a gentle smile.

"Yeah, whatever, let's help them with the dinner." Ray said, sounding so emotionless but still blushing.

I silently stood up and helped the other kids with the dinner, chopping the vegetables and mixing them in a pot. I left after a while and went to Emma's side, they're making medicines from herbs.

"Hey, what do you think of this, Lorraine?" Anna asked, giving me a bowl of mixtures.

I examined it for a while and nodded my head, it's safe since they use herbs and they picked the right ingredient for the medicine, she told me that she'll need it to check our ears, our nonexistent ears. I chuckled from my own thoughts before helping her clean Emma's.

"Are you all right now?" She ask with a worried tone.

"I am, don't worry, maybe I'm just tired." I replied with a smile.

"Tired? You were bleeding, Lorraine! What would happen if we lost you while travelling? We cannot afford to lose you." She said, raising her voice a little while gripping my shoulder.

"I'm so sorry, Emma." I said, looking down at shame.

"We're worried, Lorraine, speak up when you're feeling weird or something's wrong with your body." Anna said beside us, smiling at me.

"Thank you." I whispered and removed the bandage from where my ear was before.

Anna cleaned the wound while the children played for a bit. It's refreshing to see them smiling and laughing, I cannot do anything while awake, all I do is worry while Emma give us hope to continue. I wish I have that kind of determination.

"My, they learn so quickly." I heard Sung-Joo's voice after Anna finished cleaning the wound.

"These are nothing! Compared to Emma and Ray, they're a lot more fast learners." Alicia said, her voice sounds so proud.
