He looked at the vulnerable girl in front of him. She was almost shivering in the september winds. Her short dress waved along with the wind and her shiny eyes made him want her more than ever. He knew, it was now or never.

He took a deep breath in.
"Baby....."

That was when two souls knew that they were still deeply and madly in search of the other, that they were incomplete.

|Hyemi's POV|

I felt a sharp shiver run through my spine, making my hair stand on my arms. His voice, so alluring, made my heart beat a thousand times faster. I knew I was losing myself in him, as the clock ticked. I sucked a deep breathe in and slowly looked up to meet his gorgeous eyes shining under the winter lights. And oh god, how that made me weak till my knees. His presence almost made me feel nauseous. I hated how he still had that blinding effect on me.

He slowly wrapped one of his arms around my waist, afraid that I would push him. As much as I wanted to, I couldn't.

"It wasn't even a choice baby....." he continued. His voice a few octaves lower, making me crave for him more than I already was, it was unhealthy.

He hurt you Hyemi. Don't fall for it.

I slightly tugged myself backwards only for him to hold me back, ever so gently.
"Baby please....." his eyes were soft. It held so many emotions in it.

Don't Jungkook, don't call me that. I'm afraid I'll fall even harder. I can't afford to lose myself. Atleast, not to you.

"Just once....." he whispered closing his eyes for a brief moment, like he was collecting his thoughs.
"I swear.... I never wanted to leave you-"

|Third Person's POV|

"Then why did you?" Her voice was as soft as a cloud, perfectly creating that beautiful facade, but not so true. Both of them were struggling to jot lose themselves in each other, but it seemed like the most hardest thing to do.
"I had to..... That day was something I regret till date. But I was left with no other choice but to leave you. God, you don't know how much I wanted you back. Sounds crazy.......but three years and you're still what makes me breathe, hoping for a new day to wake up with you" he said and tugged a stray hair behind her ear. She shivered at his touch and involuntarily fisted her hand at the sides of his tuxedo. That moment, he regretted wearing his coat. It would have been him who she was holding if he weren't.

"You have a wife Jungkook....." she whispered looking away. It took her all her courage to tell that. Was it hatred? Was it jealousy?No, it was many too many more emotions that she felt. She was one strong girl, a prodigy.

At that very moment Jin and Soyeon came out of the building her the sleeping baby in their arms. They looked at the couple standing at a far distance from the building. Jin smiled at them and Soyeon just walked to their car and waited for her boyfriend to arrive.

"Yeah... I did" Jungkook smiled sadly and caressed her cheeks. She gulped.
".....What do you mean?" He asked hesitantly and shivered at the chill weather. Jungkook just started at her and grabbed her by the arm, leading her to his black BMW. They comfortably sat in and he turned the heater on. He revved up the engine and drove off.
