A whole week later, here I was having the time of my life bathing the tiny girl in my arms. Her big day was just in two weeks, none of us could believe that was turning one. I held her tiny body as she was splashing around and having fun in her mini tub. After a while she calmed down and that was my cue to wash her up.
"Already tired huh babygirl?" I rubbed the shampoo gently on her head, massaging it. I could see her eyes droop up and continued massaging her. I washed her body and rinsed her clean. She whined as I picked her up to dry her making me smile.
"I would love to keep you in the water but you gonna catch a nasty cold baby." I kissed her cheek as I wrapped her up in a towel. She looked absolutely adorable. I walked out with her in my arms. Jungkook was at work. He had informed me that he'd be late from work while I stayed at home cause it was a sunday. I really wished Jungkook was here but I understood how stressed his job can be.

I put Aera in a cute white onesie and brought her down. I had called Mia over so that she can finally meet Aera. Mia was really excited when I told her. I poured Aera's milk into her bottle and fed her before having my breakfast which Jungkook had made before leaving for work. His maid had not come in a week cause her son wasn't in a good condition so I had to do everything whenever I came here.

Just as I was done eating the doorbell rang. I opened the door revealing a jumping Mia covered with balloons and toys. She was wearing a yellow hoodie, a colour she normally never wore.
"Where's she?!" She pushed past she and walked in. I pouted at her insurance and walked in with her. She had already spotted Aera and started playing with her and Aera seemed to really like her too. I smiled and took a seat on a chair.
"You look different..." I commented. She nodded without looking at me.
"Yeah I read that babies love bright colours so I.went shopping yesterday and grabbed all this." I smiled at how thoughtful she was.
"You know you didn't have to and besides her birthday is right around the corner. You could have saved for that." She placed Aera on her lap and turned to me.
"I could even spend a million dollars on such a cute baby." I rolled my eyes at her playfulness and grabbed Aera's safety mat on which she plays. I out the mat on the ground and asked Mia to place her down.
"She'll be more comfortable this way." I said sitting down with them.

The day had passed really quick. We had our own movie marathon and ordered lunch when Aera was asleep. Mia was so thrilled to play with her that she really didn't want her to fall asleep. We had completed 4 movies in totally before Mia had to leave. She kissed the sleeping baby a goodbye before leaving half-heartedly.
"Visit us again miss!" I mocked leaning on the doorframe. She winked at me and got in her car before driving away. It was 7 already and Aera was still asleep. Poor baby, she must had been so tired after a whole day of fun. While I was alone I decided to plan for Aera's birthday. I hadn't asked for Jungkook's consent yet but I knew he'd oblige.

I sat on the dining room, listening to soft music, making sure it was low enough for me to hear Aera if she was awake. I took an old planner from Jungkook's room and started writing. I wanted to host a small birthday party for her and call all our friends and maybe even Hobi. I thought that it was the perfect time for them to meet up. I placed the pen in between my teeth and smiled thinking about stuff. We had come a long way now. From high school, to our first heartbreak, to accepting him back and this little ball of happiness and I didn't regret anything, not even a single bit. I would go through all this all over again if it means I'll have them back.

All of a sudden I wanted Jungkook here, I wanted to be in his arms and cuddle him. He had a rough week and we didn't get to spend much time together. It was always Jin picking Aera up or I did the job. Jungkook always came back after we feel asleep and left right after I woke up but he never missed any chance to make me feel loved. I understood him and did not force him into anything, but I missed him like hell. A sudden shrill cry made me jump up and run to her room. She seemed to be scared of something. I immediately picked her up in my arms and cradled her mumbling soft words.
"I'm here babygirl. I'm here now don't cry." She placed her head on my shoulder hiccuping. That's when I noticed the opened window. I felt the need to check so I walked up to the window and looked out. I sighed when I realised that it was all my imagination and nothing else. I closed the window and looked at Aera, kissing her cheeks.
