[2 years back]
|Third Person's POV|It's was like hell had finally broke loose. The sound of rain storming against the muddy ground and the lightening flashing through his eyes seemed to not faze him in any way. He sat on his balcony, feeling the cold breeze and his bare skin as the smoke from his lit cigarette created a de-stressing environment for him. He felt like the skies could understand the heartbreak and pain he was subjected to, crying along with his heart. He was hard on the outside but completely shattered inside. It almost seemed too amusing, the way he could create such a perfect facade his loved ones didn't fall for.
It was only earlier that day Bora had conformed her pregnancy. Sex was always something Jungkook was fascinated about but that one night felt like he didn't belong there and he didn't. He realised how it felt to be trapped when the words 'I'm pregnant' left his wife's mouth as she broke down in tears. He couldn't decipher whether it was happy tears or broken tears but he decided to let it be.
He had made it clear enough to Bora that he had absolutely no interest in this and surprisingly she agreed with him. She had no concent in this married if she had, she would have definitely fled. What they had between then was purely for mutual benefits and that, she came to realise later. Every day, every night Jungkook waited for that one call which assured him that his loved one was okay. He felt horrible for doing that to her but he knew it was better than seeing her as a corpse. As much as he wanted her to move on a part of him was still selfish, he wanted her.
He knew after they had given birth to a babyboy, he was free to go, but would she want him back, the guy who broke her, the guy who has another family, the guy who betrayed her? No matter what he was determined to try. He couldn't afford to loose her, he would break.
His phone rang dragging him out of his thoughts as he picked the phone up.
"She's not doing well kook, mentally. She is looking for a job now." Jungkook sighed looking away feeling his eyes well up tears.
"You know, half of the companies out there have ties with your father." This new piece of information had taken him aback. He leaned forward brushing his hair back.
"What do you mean hyung?"
"Where do you think they get their Intel and resources from? This is bigger than you think. Most of the companies she had interview in have ties with your father and that is absolutely not safe for her."
"Do what ever you can to get her rejected from those companies. None of them have personal connections so it should just be a matter of some money. I'll get it transferred to you account."
"I'll make sure of that but she can't stay without a job for to long right." Jungkook tapped the cigarette on the armrest to get rid of the excess ash."We'll fund the playschool again. Her friend Mia would help her out. I need to make sure she gets a job in my company. I know it's going to take long but we need to give her the maximum protection at the moment. I don't trust that man at all." The man on the other line sighed and at once Jungkook knew that he was going to disagree.
"We can't do that to her. She will not like that. "
"Do you have a better idea hyung? Do you think I don't know that she'll hate working under the same roof as me especially now that Bora is preg-"
"Bora is what?!" Jungkook winced and placed the phone further away from his ears.
