Athena had slowly began to let herself fall back into friendship with Harry Potter.

It was .... weird.

He was always cautious around her. As if a wrong word could break her in half.

Fragile

He treated like she was fragile.

And though she didn't particularly like it , she had grown to accept the many oddities of Harry Potter. Like how when he felt nervous a hand would run a hand through his raven hair or adjust his glasses. She also noticed that thought the two had easily begun to fall into their old comfortable relationship , he was nervous around her ... a lot.

Of course never uncomfortable nervous , she just noticed he'd begun to stutter around her and his cheeks were constantly tinted pink. a pink that always made Athena break out into the biggest smile she could manage.

So she made a little game out of it.

Athena had always been playful

whether with Cedric , her friends or just in general.

But with Harry it felt natural ,

their bickering , their witty responses and chemistry just proved how suited to each-other the two really were.

And of course Athena knew she had feelings for the boy, it was undeniable. But was she all of a sudden way way more scared of denial then she had ever been in her entire life because oh my Jesus she has a crush on Harry Potter!? the golden boy she despised not two years ago! Thee Harry Potter who she'd mentally cursed about a million times! Thee Harry Potter who had the girls (and guys) praising him for every step he took, and gushing over every word he sputtered out. so was she going to act on it? absolutely nOT

.....

yet

BUT in the meantime she did everything in her power to make the Potter boys cheeks flush.
