THIRD PERSON POV.

Angelo Lesca hadn't spoken a work since they left the doctors office.

Him, his brother Gino, and his daughter, Mercury were sitting in the back of the sleek car that had brought them in the first place.

Angelo and Gino were facing Mercury on one side, while the other she had all to herself.

"So," Gino started slowly. "What are we going to do about the whole Marino situation?"

  This peaked Mercury's interest.

Angelo, however, stayed silent as he watched out the window.

"Should I end the treaty?" He thought.

This a lot for him to take on. He just found out he had a daughter with his high school sweetheart, also known as the love of his life.

Can you blame the Capo?

MERCURYS POV.

Angelo looked out the window silently.

I don't even think he had spoken a word since we left.

Not even after Gino spoke to him.

I sighed and leaned my head back on the leather interior of the car.

How the hell did my life get here?

"Did you guys hear that?" Asked Gino as he looked up from his phone, looking as if he were training in on a sound.

"What?" I asked.

"It sounded like a car swerving." He replied, now looking out of the window just as his brother was.

  I shrugged my shoulders.

"Maybe it was jus-,"

The sound of glass shattering didn't allow me to finish whatever I was saying.

"Get down!" Angelo yelled as the car started to swerve violently.

More sounds of glass shattering were heard as whatever was being shot pierced the windows.

I felt something, or really someone, pull me down and cover my head.

As soon as the firing stopped, I felt Angelo pull out a gun from the inside pocket of his coat, still covering me.

"Oh hell no." Said Gino as he grabbed his gun too.

  The car door swang open.

The man who had opened it, however, was met with two guns pointing at his head.

"Mr. Lesca?" The guy said as the color drained from his face.

"Who the hell sent you?" Was all he asked before cocking the gun.

"I-I don't understand! Mr.Marino sent us here to pick up his ex's kid!"

  Damn you Warren Marino.

"Tell him that my brother and I will take her to him."

   I shot the hell up.

"Wait! Woah!" I pleaded, in utter shock.

"Since you have killed our driver, and damaged our car, I suggested that you will give us a ride."   He continued, not even acknowledging me.

  "Y-yes Capo, of course!"

And with that, I was pulled out of the car by Angelo, roughly, I might add, from the previous car that now resembled a strainer, to one that was still in one piece. Gino matched steps with him too.
