ANGELOS POV.

"Angelo, I need to have a word with you." Leah walked into my office, carrying a small box.

  "Yes?" I questioned.

She never actually needs to talk to me.

She looked around the room before approaching my desk.

"I'm assuming you didn't know about this?" She took the lid off.

I fought back a cringe once I saw that it was a women's hand.

To make matters worse, the lid had yet another message written on it.

"Too bad it's not Mercurys. Let's settle this. 512 Rylee street. Midnight. Choose the day."

"Get rid of your current security. They clearly aren't doing their job." I advised.

"What are you going to do?"

I looked at the time. It was already eight.

What am I going to do?

"I assume dads got you caught up."

"Sort of."

  "I'm going tonight."

"Is that the best idea?"

"It's going to have to be. I want this done with. I'm tired of Mercury having to live her life in fear." I stood up.

"Angelo, if something happens, and then what? She has a couple of good months knowing her father, and then what? He's just gone, and there's still people coming after her?"

"Leah, stop making this harder than what it is."

"I'm just saying, you need to be careful. You're not just living for yourself anymore."

   I know.

I decided that I wouldn't tell Mercury that I was leaving.

Because I knew it would make it harder, and I would end up staying.

"You ok? You seem a little distraught." She asked as she looked up from a book.

  Ok is a relative term.

"Yes, I'm fine." I was doing my best to act normal.

  "Are you sure?"

"Yes Mercury."

She eyed me for a bit longer.

  "Alright."

"So, we need to talk." I started after a few more minutes.

She put down the book again.

"Oh my god, are you divorcing me? Angelo, it's not me it's you."

"Must you be so much like Gino?"

She laughed. "I'm afraid the answer is yes."

"Of course it is. Anyways, we need to have a small talk." I began again.

  "Ok..."

"I'm not going to sugar coat it. I could be perfectly fine one day, and be dead the next. You know that, right?"

She gave me an odd look.

"Yes."

"Look, the only thing I want you to know is that if anything does happen, I decided that you would end up either Gino or my parents."
