We jump the trains and head back to the compound. When we get back, the initiates head to their dorms while me and Tobias head to our apartments. I really wish it would be our apartment. He hasn't asked me to move in with him, but oh well. When we get to our apartments (which are right next to each other) he says:
"I still can't believe you beat me." he says.
"I know why." I say
"Why?"
"Because I'm just so much better than you!"
"Ha ha very funny."
"Well I have to go to bed. I'm exhausted." I say.
"Ok. See ya tomorrow."
We kiss goodbye and I head inside.
*****One week later*****
I wake up and get dressed to go to the Dining Hall. When I get there, I go sit at my regular table next to Tobias.
"Hey guys!" I say.
"Hey." they all say.
We sit and talk for a couple minutes until Tobias says it's time to go. Today we are starting the emotional stage. We walk into the training room and tell the initiates to follow us.
They follow us to the room where we practice the fear landscape. We pull each initiate one by one until the last one. Chloe.
"I'm going to let you handle this one." Tobias says.
"Ok." and with that he's gone
This will be interesting...
She is in a dark room. Must be fear of darkness. Then these creatures come out and grab her. She doesn't fight back. She just stands there, calming herself. Then this bat appears in her hand. She hits the creatures with the bat and kills them. Then she wakes up. She is shaking.
"It's ok. It's over." I tell her.
"It was awful."
"How long do you think you were in there?"
"Twenty to thirty minutes."
"Four."(lol Four)
"Oh."
"You're free to go."
She leaves and I put everything back. I leave to go out of the room.
"Alright initiates! You're free to go!"
Everyone leaves and I go to Tobias's apartment. I knock on the door and Tobias answers it.
"Hey." he says.
"Hey."
"Come on in."
He opens up the door wider for me to get through.
"So how was her fear landscape?" he asks.
"I'm concerned about her."
"Why? Is she not tough enough?"
"No she is, but she was only in the fear landscape for four minutes."
"Oh. That's not good."
"I know. We need to help her."
"We'll talk to her tomorrow. Okay?"
"Okay."(get it? tfios)
"So you want to go get some food?" he asks.
"Yeah. I could eat."
