Left, right, straight, bend. Could do that in a minute. If my body didn't break down. Heavy breaths, enough to scare a bear away, echoed in the tight corridors that was made by the buildings. I stopped my body in front of my house, huffing and heaving out heavy breaths. "Did you run here again?" My mom asks, peeking out of the window. "Yes." I heave out a breath again, smiling. "Come on in, we have to get dinner ready." "Yes, of course." I reply, nodding. I take off my backpack and start setting the table up. "I'm here!" A voice loud, clear, maybe a little too high pitched was heard on the front door.

I sigh as I wipe my hands on my clothes, immediately going upstairs. "Janny? Aren't you going to help me?" My mom called from downstairs, washing the dishes. "I have a homework due tomorrow!" I lie, smiling as I opened my room door. I plop on the bed, switching on the lights and flip open a book.
