I run to Lucifer. "Hey, Lucifer, isn't it cool that the Innas and Yerinas get to live close by?" I ask him, jumping up and down. "Helen, it doesn't have a balance. What if there's an Inna who is smarter than a Rivolent? What if they have to replace the Rivolent?" He says, cracking my positiveness. "I just asked if it was cool..." I try to smile, but I mean, if that is even possible. We walk in silence. Without Janny, being with Lucifer is so weird. I slump my head down as I start to remember my mom saying something to me. "Helen, sometimes, you have to look at people's feelings, and ask questions in order to get into a conversation or else you become a idiot. And, maybe that's why you don't have any friends."
I gulp. After years, the words still stick inside me. I haven't changed a single thing. I bet my mom just gave up on me. Well, that's nothing to say since I am now a royal and nobody can change that. Now, I'm in a new family! A new house! I am independent. All that past is behind me now, for good. I am now an Inna. I raise my head to see the Inna house up ahead. Bye bye, uncaring mom. I'm out here, for good.
